Ted really turned Higgins from a timid assistant of the villian to a confident business man who puts family first, we need more shows with Ted lasso kinda guys.
What I really like about this sitcom and others like it is: the characters really seem to like each other. Not all comedy needs to be aggressive, you can have a funny show where the audience is laughing with the characters, not meant to laugh at them.
What I noticed multiple times is this: There are many bits we have seen in other comedies before and you think you know what's coming, but then they take a totally different, more "human" direction instead of the cheap joke or cliché we've been conditioned to expect, and I love that!

When Ted confirms that dogs are getting put down in America but says that American singer/songwriters are trying to end that. The look on Roy’s face and him nodding his head, is both funny and kinda wholesome. He likes dogs.
There’s an interview with him where he pretty much says that he and Jason wrote the character Roy with the intent for someone else to play him, but when they workshopped the script together it just clicked that he should play it himself.

Best new comedy series ive seen since What We Do in the Shadows. I'm extremely critical of new shows, especially comedies, so I was reluctant to give Ted Lasso a try but season 1 was simply incredible. Some of the best comedic writing ive seen in a series in awhile, its a good balance between clever and whimsical comedy. Season 2 wasnt as good imo but it still had its moments.
