Tiies - thanks. Totally agree about the group 5 cars. Though the AI did seem to cause quite a few massive pile-ups at turn 11 - which prevented me for getting any good footage for this vid!
I too enjoy the R3E version, though they both have different strengths and weaknesses. I didn't really want to make to much of a comparison between the two in the video, as people get pretty defensive about their favourite sims!
Nice review as always, this was actually a track I hadn't bothered with from the ACRB, but it looks like it'd be a lot of fun. Have downloaded it now so will give it a go at some point. Keep up the good work :) I found your channel because of the DRM revival review (as it was one of the first). Maybe as and when the next RSS GT cars come out I'd suggest getting a review up of those ASAP to try and snatch a few more views. I think getting people to like / subscribe isn't going to be a problem once people see the content, it's getting the views in the first place. Good luck anyway, you've a very watchable style, nice and calm and your humour is restrained in a very British way.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment SturdyHSV. I'll definitely be doing reviews of the Saleen and Ferrari 575 when RSS release them into the wild. I did produce a video for the Lambo within the first 18 hours of release, but the channel was much smaller at the time. As you say, it's a case of getting the views in the first place - and I'm very much learning as I go!
Drove there in real life as well as the AC version - the mod is spot on. The track does seem so boring at first glance, but especially the fast eastern corners are such a joy to master - great mod, great review, subscribed.
hi chris! im loving your videos! just subbed and looking for more content! I found the official link for that f1 mod, and in the same forum there is the AC Legends Mods ( like the GT Legends games and classic trans am mod), 1967 F2 and F3! pretty damn awesome I can send the link if you want to! Looking foward for your reviews of those mods! :D
Hey Henry, thanks for the kind words. The AC Legends and AC Prototype legends mods are good fun, and I'm working on some content for them at the moment. I've not had a play with the '67 F2 content yet, but after watching the historic F2 at Brands a couple of weeks ago, I'm keen to give it a look!
The flow of this track reminds me of 2 tracks in Argentina, Balcarce and Rafaela (the short configuration). I believe there's an AC version of both tracks, which you should check out.
Thanks Chris, much appreciated. I am working on content for both Rfactor 2 and Raceroom at the moment. I've held back on both because I couldn't record visuals at a quality level that I thought was acceptable, especially in VR. I'm holding fire on iRacing content for the moment, as it doesn't really fit too well with the short form content I like to make, but I'm not ruling it out for the future. As for AMS, it's been a while since I picked it up, as VR has been a bit of a game-changer for me!
Yes, the very same. I would normally link such things in the description, but the only link I could find looked a little sketchy - and I didn't want to anger the TH-cam gods!
@Viperion - I'm really enjoying it. There's quite a lot of depth to it and all of the cars behave differently. I've not really spent enough time and haven't really scratched the surface yet.
The Group 5 are amazingly fun to throw around this place. Great review!

the track has an awesome flow to it in r3e. looking forward to try it in ac. thanks for the review

Your reviews are excellent!
Thanks a lot
Thanks Bill, very much appreciated.
Nice channel Chris, subbed
Thanks FatMaus, much appreciated!
Really enjoying your reviews! 👍👍👍

Hey Chris, been watching what you have out up and am loving it. I have subbed and am wondering if you plan to do content for any other sims?

Chris Haye, Awesome great to hear. I'm the same with AMS and VR. Actually uninstalled it this week for that reason.
I had the same slippers. Did you get them from ASDA?
Which f1 cars are these in the beginning?
What are the F1 cars at the beginning and end? Is it the 1975 F1 pack by Bazza?
Yes, the very same. I would normally link such things in the description, but the only link I could find looked a little sketchy - and I didn't want to anger the TH-cam gods!
I've had that mod ready to go for a couple weeks but this video finally made me install it :)

There's a redone AI line available now on RD thanks to F Biehne
Ah, good catch. Thanks.
