"Anyway, 17-year-old me" is such great writing. I love how you put your videos together. It's always a great mix of humor with everything else you present.
Probably the *best* era for gaming. The amount of revolutionary games that came out in that time period is insane, so many classic games that were endlessly replayable. MGS2 and 3, RE4, NFSMW, COD Finest Hour, Underground 2, the list is absolutely endless
game's scariest moments was when them undead creatures snuck behind you as you're exploring the areas. Overall, I'd say this game had potential to be great. The atmosphere sells the game.
They had such high hope for this game and They even had plan to make this as movie adaptation. The game looks great. The ship moving physics is amazing and it's a part of the gameplay. The dialogues never take serious. and that's why this game is fun to play. I'm sure the reason why it didn't get popular is because it was overshadowed by Resident evil 4.
@GamingHarryYT I always assumed the Monster down below was the original/progenitor of the little gribbles, which is why the scientist transforms into one. It laid dormant until the drill hit it/the colony which was basically a bell signalling 'more food for the colony. Time to reproduce!' It's basically the Flood- deep sea edition.
Bro, I love this channel so much!! I can't believe someone finally dug this gem and gave it the proper treatment! Cold Fear has always trumped Resident Evil 4 for me. The atmosphere and horror aspect were far superior, compared to that goofy anime-esque action Resident Evil clone that ruined the RE franchise.
Thanks for making this video! While it’s a very flawed game, it’s one of my favourite games and there’s so many cool things this game does well. The music and atmosphere are easily the highlights.
I remember playing a demon of it when it came out and I loved the asmotsphere the game had. The sea, the constant sway of the ship. It definitely deserved more recognition for the setting alone. Thanks for the video, as always it's an enjoyable and an informative watch 👍
Dude I just watched a video on this game last Thursday. That’s crazy you just put a video out on it. Can’t wait to watch your Still Wakes The Deep video. I’ll finish the game tonight
Hi Harry! Great video, as always! From the relatively older titles, I would love to see a full story of the "F.E.A.R" franchise. It was my first FPS horror and I think that a Lore and Order/Retro Vault on this trilogy would be a great blast from the past not just for me.
Have you ever heard of the ps2 game Extermination? For some reason watching this video unlocked a part of my brain I haven’t thought of for a long time and reminded me of that game.
For a sec thought this was the game where you stuck in abandenoed ship and have to help other person navigate throught the survalance system. I think that one was called Experience 112 but cant be sure now
Survival/Psychological/Mystery Horror games takes place in an Underwater Facility/Big Ship is such an underrated and Underused concept and i shocked how there's not much. Only games that comes out of my mind are Cold Fear obviously,SOMA,Deep Fear,Barotrauma,Bioshock if that counts, Getting really tired of Horror games always takes place on a spooky big mansion/Abandon House or City/Hospital or Mental Asylum/School etc.
Another recommendation for the Retrovault is *Extermination* for the PS2. A similar game I played as a kid which I admit, had a similar effect on me lol
Wow cold fear what a classic game. Huge fan if your videos where you unpack the stories from games. Have you ever considered doing a video on the game greenhell?
15:50 could have been Kamsky's first appearance in game, but the developers shuffled some scenes and we got a continuity error. Or one of Kamsky's evolution experiments on another human subject.
I think this was supposed to get a squeal but didn't, that's probably that monster that was down in the rig didn't get much info on. (I don't know that's my guess.)
How about giving cryostasis a spin? It's not in an oil rig but a ship frozen in the artic or antartica. Also if willing, give a peek to Withering rooms
I downloaded this and started playing. Wouldve loved a tutorial or a map. I did memorize where I was going at some point, but a map wouldve really helped.
Hey Harry, why don’t you make a video about the Black Ops Zombies storyline? I’m sure many people would love to watch you decipher the complicated story of call of duty zombies! Thanks for your videos!!
Hey Harry, love your content. I was wondering if you could play Lies of P and make a lore and order video on it since it has a pretty grim story line, it would be awesome. I have almost finished the game but i like to hear your Lore and order videos to see if i missed anything crucial in the game.
"Anyway, 17-year-old me" is such great writing. I love how you put your videos together. It's always a great mix of humor with everything else you present.
He's so matter of fact that whenever he does make a joke it catches me off guard lmao
No fr tho. Got a nice laugh outta that
Same, 😂
It made me giggle 😂
The PS2 Era was such a great time for gaming.
It really was. Wish I could go back sometimes haha
Playing RS4 for the first time was revolutionary
Looking at all those polygons and thinking how far tech has gone to give us all those bangers. Ah good times.
1985-2010 was a true golden age for video games.

"the scariest part was the scary parts" 😂

Never forget that Cold Fear helped inspire one of the earliest Internet memes, the “WTF Boom.”

Got some 'The Thing ' vibes here.
In the place where there is nothing, they found someTHING

Your personal connections to these titles make these videos so interesting to me. You always make me wanna play these! 😅
Thanks for making this video! While it’s a very flawed game, it’s one of my favourite games and there’s so many cool things this game does well. The music and atmosphere are easily the highlights.
This game has one of my favourite review captions of all time, "leaking body gravy" attached to a picture of someone who had been eviscerated
After playing and watching your video on Still Wakes the Deep I was waiting for THIS! 🔥
"17 year old me" got me chuckling hard.

Bro I just subbed from your silent hill breakdown and already an upload? That’s quality👍
I remember playing a demon of it when it came out and I loved the asmotsphere the game had. The sea, the constant sway of the ship. It definitely deserved more recognition for the setting alone.

Absolutely love this game
I freaking loved this game so much. Came out right before RE4
15 year old me had the same experience with Silent Hill 2 upon seeing Pyramid Head the first time in game.
Have you ever heard of the ps2 game Extermination? For some reason watching this video unlocked a part of my brain I haven’t thought of for a long time and reminded me of that game.
So stoked for this
I would love to see a remake of this one!!!

This and Extermination (2001) were both really under appreciated action horror games
I love this game, got it on a whim back in 2009 and loved it.

The health bar is so Metal Gear Solid 😁I love this game though!
Another banger
For a sec thought this was the game where you stuck in abandenoed ship and have to help other person navigate throught the survalance system. I think that one was called Experience 112 but cant be sure now
Great video , men we need more, I wish they told us more about where they came
Area 51 explained? That would be awesome. That game terrified me as a kid.

Man this was such an underrated game
Yo! I see Sir Dan in the thumbnail!
OMG I loved this game back then.
2:22 - This Orca scene, reminds me of Fishing Village Mission from XCOM: Enemy Within.
Hey harry! Do you plan on making a video of the 2don remnat 2 Dlc? Love the content
Another recommendation for the Retrovault is *Extermination* for the PS2.
A similar game I played as a kid which I admit, had a similar effect on me lol

Still Wakes The Deep vidya was aamzing!!
my fear is usually luke-warm... fkin luke.
I like that the ghost guard goes in guns blazing. I didnt even know they were armed like that.
Wow cold fear what a classic game. Huge fan if your videos where you unpack the stories from games. Have you ever considered doing a video on the game greenhell?
Another really good retro game to look into for this series is Extermination(PS2). I think you’d enjoy that one.
Pretty lit 05' game. I wish I was there for the ps2 era
I played this when I was 8 fuckin hell this gave me the fear of the basement with the lights turned off
Hi! Big fan of your videos! Do you have plans to do the darkest dungeon games?
My dad played this on the ps2 I was so scared 😂😅 now looking back it wasn't even that bad
15:50 could have been Kamsky's first appearance in game, but the developers shuffled some scenes and we got a continuity error. Or one of Kamsky's evolution experiments on another human subject.
This game scared me so much but in a good way
I used to love this game. Do "Valkyrie Profile" please.
I think this was supposed to get a squeal but didn't, that's probably that monster that was down in the rig didn't get much info on.
(I don't know that's my guess.)
How about giving cryostasis a spin? It's not in an oil rig but a ship frozen in the artic or antartica.

This is not F.E.A.R., but this is also great.
*Opens grandma's xmas gift, thinking it's RE4 and it's Cold Fear*
Really lol I would like a remake
I honestly feel that the PS2/Xbox era was the best ever. So many weird interesting games came out during that time and some all time greats too.
I rented this game randomly one weekend, played it and realised im terrible with horror games. I wouldnt play another until dead space
I remember cold fear good times
Hey Harry, why don’t you make a video about the Black Ops Zombies storyline? I’m sure many people would love to watch you decipher the complicated story of call of duty zombies! Thanks for your videos!!
This would be a perfect game for a remake
I love your videos I would love to see you cover the dead space games

Hey Harry, love your content. I was wondering if you could play Lies of P and make a lore and order video on it since it has a pretty grim story line, it would be awesome. I have almost finished the game but i like to hear your Lore and order videos to see if i missed anything crucial in the game.
A video is actually in the pipeline but can’t say when it’ll be out
