Piers cannot prevent himself from interrupting his guests every single time
And that's the key take away from this discussion 🤡
You can really see in Walsh's eyes how disappointed he was that Piers interrupted any tiny bit of nuance in what he was saying😂
But if he is Knighted, doesn't that mean he is exempt from criticism?
David Walsh went after Armstrong with the truth and we know what happened there! Walsh wouldn't risk his journalistic career f he wasnt sure.
Walsh is a bore. He is a one trick pony and his attempt to paint Wiggins in the same light is pretty disgusting. Move on and get a new topic. Of course Walsh never did, he really is so dull.
@@2011hwalkeryou is this Bradley wiggins?
Why doesn't David Walsh go after any current riders as cheats..average speeds are much much higher in the current peleton..go figure
Susana Reid was at same Uni as me same time, never saw her though, we called those people as Yuppies
She is so gorgeous though, absolute model quality girl and woman
Credit to Piers here, didn't bow to the patriotic sentiment towards Wiggins. David Walsh always such a diligent upstanding journalist,
My grandmother never ever done the kick flip.
Christopher Froome was drinking huge quantities of juice
Used to love cycling as a kid. Such a filthy sport. Can’t watch it anymore.
Me too ❤❤❤
I just never understood how his time trial performances at 71kg were better than when he put on muscle bulk to get nearer to his ip weight nearly 80kg in a couple of subsequent world time trial championships which he won with a smaller margin over his rivals than the time trials I the 2012 tour and that years Olympic tt😢.
Doping has always been rampant in cycling and still is. How many top cyclists supposedly have asthma? It’s hilarious. The thing is though if everyone is doping what does it matter?
If cheating doesn't matter we're in a bad way. It must never be tolerated or accepted.
What about cyclist it is just like they do it. What about world cup football "all of them" nba, swimmer, runner, i want to say all professional sports even chess... Why to put finger only in one what about Tennis players? And this is far hardest sport of them all. Just give this guys support for what they doing. Try to cycle every day 21 day for 20km a day.
The beauty of Susana Reid is totally amazing
She's married 😊
That's her only real attribute
Ultimately if you never fail a drug test at the time (or retrospectively) then everything else just has to be speculation and hearsay. And if an athlete applies for a TUE and gets one then again they are racing clean according to the rules of the sport.
Rules need to change. Clearly.
He drank turtle soup thats all.😂😂😂
All pro cyclists have asthma. We need that Spanish guy on the chat show
I’ve never heard David Walsh do a piece on a doper who didn’t win.
Why?
@@TebaloKokozela because it doesn’t pay to do a piece on someone who isn’t successful. No one wants to read about it.
The part where you said "didn't win" answers all questions my man
It's pretty simple as a journalist. Who won the race? This guy. Must be a doper. What about the guy who came in 10th? Not a doper.
Wiggins also smoked a lot during his cycling career.
That’s fine then you can take sports enhancing drugs if you balance it out with smoking
Haha.
I never knew they changed bikes so often, until I saw an exposé on the power assist they hide in their bikes, they changed them so often as the batteries run down. Looking back now you see the back wheel spinning with no one the bike (crashes)
lol
who are these people doing this for, If he said this to BernardHinault for example it might end badly.
3:58🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
All she ever did was disagree with Piers and virtue signal... and she still has a job though....
EVERY pro cyclist is pulling some kind of performance-enhancing trick..:)
As Jacques Anquetil once said "You can't win on water".
PS- when I was a club cyclist in the 1970's there used to be pro-am events, but we amateurs never stood a chance because all the pros were drugged to the eyeballs.
Love how he never mentions groome.. who blew 20x the legal limit of salbutamol, yet the "machine" was faulty😂😂.
Yet it banned about 80 athletes before that 🤷♂️
Pot piers calling kettle wiggins
Walsh has pretty good sense of smell with these things. Idk....
Cheats Never Prosper look at him now.Bankrupt.
melting his medals for drug money
Did he cheat? Where this proof? Send me the link
Absolute cheat and he has never been asked about it since. Instead he talks bout his charity work and his child abuse. Sick.
oh f off. Get it in perspective.Wiggins was obviously an amazing athlete and the TUE was a tiny supplement in the big scheme of things.
All top athletes are on some kind of performance enhancing drugs. Whats new? We wouldn't have top level sport without drugs. Here's a big YEY to drugs!
Where is Walsh with Podg. 💉💉💉💉
If you are very sick you cant sell yourself as a pro athlete competing at the top
He was in all probability cheating, but so was every other cyclist from that era, so he still won fairly in my opinion, and I am very hesitant to even call it "cheating" .
The drug they are describing is primarily used to lose weight by larger cyclists. The drug wasn't added to the WADA ban list until 2014. If it's not on the ban list than it's alright. Don't hate the player, hate the game...
If that were true he wouldn’t have needed a TUE.
The problem with David Walsh is that he believes everyone is a cheat
in cycling they are
I'd suggest his problem is that this is not the case. Doesn't he believe Lemond and Froome were angels? They may have been so but Walsh did say in the past, perhaps more than once, that cycling was a sport you could simply not excel in unless you gave way, and succumbed to performance enhancing. So I'd ask him how he can point at a few distinct riders and declare them pure?
@@wewhofly Walsh loves the sport and i think optimistacly latches onto any wining rider who might be clean. He has more optimism of seeing a clean tour than most
@@phililpb100%
Bradley Wiggins is not a cheater
He used TUI under the rules all within the rules
Not a matter for parliament
Don't know why journalists are always having a go at our best and most successful people.
Your very naive
5 different TUEs. Wiggins and Froome were doped to the gills, whether or not they found a loophole.
