Can I use a QR code to download pics from an event?
It depends! If the photos for the event were housed in a location such as a Dropbox or similar storage service, you could create a QR code for that Dropbox URL that takes a person to where they can download the photos.
i want to scan a code to take me to a list......not sure how id be in a word type doc, with my list, and then make the QR code. saw your example from google chrome, so i can now make a QR from a website, but how do i make one for this list idea i have ? ty for the example and getting me started so far :) x
If you are wanting to send it to an online document like a Google Doc that is public, that document should have a URL associated with it. You can then take that URL and plug it into your QR code maker, and that should work.

If you are asking about the preferred program to generate the code, I like www.qrcode-monkey.com/ because it is free, and also as a designer I can download the vector EPS and easily style it on whatever document I am designing.

Wow, Thank you for this video. Actually, me being a member of the older generation 😉 I am just trying to keep up so my business can thrive. Up until today ... when I saw these little "alien script" ( what I call them) I would say, "nope not interested". Well, I'm learning that these are very in and I'm about to head to a HUGE convention in a few days and as a business owner I am finding that this "alien script" has the potential to drive a ton of traffic to my business. Thank you for this if I may ask I had a print shop make me a QR code for my business cards is there a way i can upload it to my computer so I can make stickers all I have is the business card with the QR code in it
If the print shop provided you with a digital file, you could use the same QR code, but the good news is you don't need to use the exact same one. If you want to make stickers, you can generate a new QR code with a free online tool (my fave is QR Code Monkey) and that will let you download a digital file you can use.

Thanks for the heads up on those two sites.I'm looking into if QR codes can create AI images in some way via a website but I know they're meant for storing info so could they do something like store AI images? I'm really not techy at all so any tips from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I want to create a different QR code for each student (I teach 2nd grade) to be able to log into their chrome book. Usually, they would have to type in their email and password. Is it possible for me to create a QR code using their email and password so they can login without having to type all of that? Feeling so stumped!

If I generate a QR code for an Airbnb do people need to sign into Airbnb to access the property listing?
I have paypal app. I made a QR from my QR app. How can I get connect the QR code to my paypal ? Then I can just show that code when selling items.
I think I follow. The club I'm in just did this recently. They took the PayPal account URL and pasted that into a QR code generator. That way when you scanned the code you could send payment to the club's account. Is that what you are looking for? It's just a matter of finding the right URL for your PayPal account.

Can I create a QR code for wedding photo uploads?
One idea would be to create a QR code that takes you to a photo storage URL like a Dropbox link. If the Dropbox folder had open permissions to let people upload, that would be an easy way to achieve that.
Pointing out why you should only photograph QR codes where you trust the issuer. Too many have been doctored or even pasted over.

Not to my knowledge they don't.

QR Code Monkey is absolutely free to generate a basic QR code. If you are trying to do something advanced it will take you to the PRO features which costs. If all you want to do is make and generate a QR code that goes to URL you shouldn’t have to pay for that.

When a QR code is scanned, can the QR code collect data ?
Depends on what you mean with this question. There are QR codes that you can pay for that will collect data on how often it was scanned. Additionally some QR code generator can collect the scanner's information if they opt into that service.

Are these QR code generators free
If all you want to do is make a QR code that goes to any URL, then yes, it is free. If you want to go super fancy and get complex with them, you might have to pay depending on what you want to do.
