@@StewartGauld Yes there are free QR codes out there, but this site doesn't offer them. To call this free because you can "create it" and use it for 15 days is misleading. It's especially deceptive when you take into account that you're suggesting people get their business cards printed with these redirect QR codes. - This video is personally costing me $250 for reprinting stickers and packaging tape, but I'm just glad I caught it. Thankfully my 15 day free trial is nearly up and the marketing emails started before I sent out the QRs to the public.

I am about to order my business cards and numerous yard signs, which are costly, and Can't afford to mislead the public to a QR code that does not work, plus having to re-order biz cards signs would be a HUGE BIG MESS. Hope to get some insight from you on how to get a lasting QR. Thanks!
@@larsedstrom49 Agreed. Not sure if he's sponsored or not but he should have also been more upfront and clear about how to get it "FREE". People will be spending a lot of money printing it on things and now having to pay extra to keep the QR code active. If the software is NOT clear about this, then @Stewart Gauld shouldn't be recommending this site for that. Obviously some people have already been tricked.

I am getting ready to order some business yard signs which are costly and concerning about generating a QR for my website that it suddenly go away and stuck with numbers of yard signs that QR does not work. THERE ARE NOT FREE!
Im actually creating a kdp book. The photos are in color. This color process would have made it much much more expensive to print in the KDP book. Instead, i am creating links to where people can view the photos to the book and pay as they see the photos. Unfortunately, i bet you did not decide to describe how we can follow metrics. I tried this but they still make you pay for an annual subscription for your qr code after a 14 day free trial, otherwise they disable it

This is only if you select the premium options when creating your QR code.
They get you with the "sign up now" pop up, the download takes about 10 seconds to pop up on my mac. It is definitely not instant.

Make sure you put your correct link in. You shouldn't have this issue. Maybe try the precess again and see if the issue happens again.
So I just used this and I got an email saying my free trial is up and told me to select a package that I have to pay to keep it active. I’m confused 😭

You may have used a premium option. In this case you just wont be able to create more. However, you can still use the ones you have already created.

Depending what plan you go for. We not recommend using Canva for creating free QR codes.
I tried to do it bus when I scan the barcode it just says that is a sample… what am I doing wrong ?
That is odd. Make sure you follow the step we take in this video. Otherwise try using the updated tutorial we have linked in the description.

I used the QE Code Generator but after 7 days it expired and it was no longer available.
Make sure you use the free options not paid or this will happen.

This QR codes no matter how you create or make them are not free. After two weeks you'll get an email to select a plan. They hope you print thousands and then have to bite the bullet and just pay for their service to reactivate it.
I will have to look into this. I am still using the free plan (limited). However, this may have changed now. They might still allow older accounts to keep the free account.
