Quick question - I'm SO new to QR codes. This video was really helpful. And your Wi-Fi option for Vacation Rentals was one of the things that I was looking for. In the 2 companies that you showcased, does either let you keep your wi-fi details and update them as needed and it's in real time? Like if I had to change the password, do I need to generate a new code and put it in the rental? I was originally just trying to figure out how to do QR codes so I could put the house manual on it, so I don't have to put all that info in arrival details or print a house manual that constantly gets misplaced, trashed or needs updating. Any help you can offer would be great! And referral links as well. I'd even book a consultation with you for your time if that's an option as well. Thanks for any insight as I'm so new and don't really know what all I can do with these. Thanks & Happy New Year!

Michelle, I'm writing this to help and offer some constructive criticism. Merlin is not pronounced liked Berlin. The emphasis is on the Mer, not on the Lin. Merlin was a sorcerer in the Medieval times and because of the magic the app can do it was named after this famous sorcery and magic. Why is this helpful? Because from the very beginning you don't sound like you know what you're talking about because you're pronouncing the name wrong. Continual use throughout the video of mispronunciation degrades confidence in the viewer and ultimately has them clicking on another video (which is what I did). Go to any other vlogger talking about Merlin and listen to how they pronounce it. My recommendation (if you want more views) is to re-record the video with the correct pronunciation and see your analytics go up, views, duration watch time etc. You don't have to delete this video, just hide it for now after you make a new one with the correct pronunciation. Keep the new one up and see what kind of results you get. I have a feeling you'll see much better results especially in the watch time and where fall off (if any) happens. Good luck!

Really helpful! One thing that may be missing (or I just didn't see it) is the ability to change the icon in the button based on the section visibility state. Think "+" to open, and "-" to close. Because I spent so much time today figuring this out, I'd be happy to share the solution and save others the time it took me: 1. Find out the data-icon attribute value for the two icon states. In my case it was 'P' closed, and 'O' opened. 2. Go to the script that you placed in "Theme Options" -> in the head of your blog. 3. Directly under the line "e.preventDefault();" enter the line $('[data-icon]').attr('data-icon', 'P'); //this changes all button icons to the state 'closed' 4. In the 'else' statement, add the line $(button).attr('data-icon', 'O'); //this changes the closed button icon to open if it was closed on click I hope this is helpful. As I said, it took me hours to get here and most of my searches leading up to this solution took me in the wrong direction.
