How I made this Under Stairs Storage Cupboard and Drawer - Space Saving - DIY

Hi, a very nice unit similar to what I am trying to build at the moment. My issue is how you stop the top 45 degree point to the door clashing with the stair frame above it when you open it as the hinge throws to door across to the right. Would be very grateful for your solution. Regards

Hi, yes this is an issue. What you need to do is reduce the thickness of the inside of the door, right on the 45 degree point, without it showing on the front. I did this with a plane..

Fixed to all the shelves and screwed to the wall

Why would you notch out holes in the doors when a soft push open type latch does the job and keeps the whole front clean?
