None of the Amo pop rock singles charted in the top 40 in the UK, and BMTH turned that underperformance around a few years ago with Post Human: Survival Horror. Hopefully BMTH will progress more rapidly onwards with the NeX GEn album because in the UK a lot of fans are committed to the album pre-sale and are not likely to buy the same songs twice in the form of a digital singled downloads.
Oli had an interview or some shit and in the interview he said the reason for the delay with the album is because they wanted more tracks for next gen that no one has heard yet and it's supposed to be coming out in July.
Jimi Hendrix during the The Electric Ladyland sessions produced about 100 hrs of recorded music over 14 months. Album was 16 tracks, with dozens of unreleased ones. NeX GEn if released by the summer will have taken far longer and there will be far less recorded material. NeX GEn so far in terms of released material is a tad over 20 mins. What I’m thinking about is everything on the whole from there forward to present day.
EDIT: Another way to put it? If someone went back in time to when I was a kid and told me, “The guys who do the song •Death Breath will one day do •why you gotta kick me when i’m down? •mother tongue •Deathbeds •Steal Something and •Parasite Eve,” then I’d of looked at them like they had two heads lol
It's such a shame they never got to do that before Chester's passing, an album and singles encapsulating all their styles. I'm sure they would've eventually
I love how Millennials/Gen Z miss the Jonestown reference. You do not want to be drinking the Kool-Aid people.
I feel ya Nik, started out this year sick as hell too, lol! Feel better soon! I prescribe ALL the bangers, that'll kick the cold to the curb! 😂😂
i think the sound clip at the end is some earlier iteration of the song. if I am not mistaken this song has been through a few iterations.
Used to hate Bring Me The Horizon back in the day and how they have changed over the years is so amazing, massive fan of them in their later half of their work!
Damn so you hated them when they were actually putting out good music and not radio metal
@@Kingcommaalex Back during the Count Your Blessing Era their sound was so rough and unclean and there was just better out there in the same genere at the time. They weren't anything special in my opinion. Could have also just been my taste, didn't like the overly staticy sound, prefered a cleaner sound.
@@Flupperz the riffs are very well pronounced and actually original and not generic sounding but to each their own
@@Kingcommaalexwill you ever let someone have an opinion or are you just gonna keep gatekeeping
@@dark_philipp I’m not gatekeeping lmao
tbqh I think it was more Jim Jones Kool-Aid rather than Kool-Aid Man Kool-Aid.
I’m mad you didn’t love the “nobody loves you like I love you” instantly
its worth noting that dan lancaster isnt a new addition for the band. he’s been working with them as early as thats the spirit in 2015
“It’s like Count Your Blessings met Amo” is hilariously accurate
Finally, the kool aid song reaction i wanted to see ❤
Kool-Aid makes me happy in a way I can’t even describe… the dopamine is so strong in this one
I thought of nik when I heard this song for the first time I could not wait to see his reaction when that little solo hit.
i love that the fact they put Babymetal-ish lil solo at the end of the breakdown!
