This was amazing and I am so happy for Corpse for getting a chance to collab with BMTH. Corpse stated multiple times in the past that his voice got as deep as it is as a result of a medical condition he has (he always had a deep voice but in the last few years or so it had gotten deeper because of the medical condition). He also has other medical conditions that he deals with on a daily basis. It doesn't stop him from doing what he loves but it does limit him at times.
Kinda Fan theory: BMTH did all these heavy features and realized how much fun they were having so they decided to make their future Heavy EP. I'm excited. This also makes me hype for more Nik Nox!

The alternative rap and metal scenes are coming closer together and it really is a dream come true. I am 20 now so I grew up and got into music when the emo, late stages of nu metal, and underground alternative types of rap were big. Late elementary into middle school I was getting into Tech N9ne, The Deftones, System of a Down, etc. Now today I am spoiled with crossovers like this between Corpse and BTMH as well as artists like Sleep Token and especially Kim Dracula who mix all my favorite niche musical styles together. I mean Kim mixes up Metalcore, Deathcore, Nu Metal, Power Metal, etc with Jazz, Alternative Hip Hop, and even some older pop. Hearing him go from soaring high power metal notes, deathcore growling breakdowns, utilizing his dexterity and vocal fry control to go from rapping in that very low hardcore style Corpse popularized, then going into fast screamed raps, hitting thrash metal riffs, and a drum solo all in the span of one song on "Seventy Thorns" that shit sold me. The metal, rock, hip hop, prog, and even the jazz scenes right now are utterly thriving and it inspires the hell out of me.
