- An old railway legend of a disappearing express train causes Gordon to become paranoid. Is it all just nonsense, or is there a dangerous ghost lurking about...?
So here we are folks, the kickoff to the Sudrian Stories From Hell's second volume! I wanted to do a more conventional spooky Thomas story before getting into the crazy stuff next week, though I am still quite pleased with how this one turned out. i was never able to read rws so could you explain about rws gordons personality?
At first he was rude and mean but after the events of Edwards exploit and also him gaining age he becomes a more wiser engine. (I think)
Mmmm yes, I pulled the express for years, it was nice for retirement after pulling it for 90 years, I just pull the local nowadays.
I love how Gordon is portrayed in this story! He actually voices his concerns to the other engines, and he thanks Edward for helping him! I wish more people would do this with him, it makes him seem wiser and more mature than the snobby, egotistical engine we got in the show!
Yes but if you read the Original stories that’s how Gordon is.
This story is actually fantastic.
I was expecting that something scary would happen to Gordon and the Ghost train would make him and the express vanished.
The twist is actually interesting and sad. He was innocent and just wanted others to understand the truth.
Not all ghostly beings are bad. Some are actually innocent. And in a way, it's sad to hear your legacy ruin by false rumors and such.
I think this story is really great. Can't wait for the next one!
Yeah actually its more realistic/belivable than just ghost.And yes he does appear however knowing how myths are created its no suprise that things like this happen.
This also reminds me a bit of the Half Engine story where it involved Gordon being left alone in the dark while the crew went to help solve the situation.
A brilliant story. I really like how you portrayed Gordon in this. He feels like he was in the books especially the later ones. I also like how the ghost isn't bad, it's a nice change of pace from other ghost stories.

I personally like the horror content of this channel. It's actually enticing and suspenseful. It always leaves you wanting more.
this was really a good start for the second season of Sudrian Stories from hell, you really did a marvelous job on the first episode along with the voice actors that took part of it. 🙂👍

I love in this story where Gordon was start change and grow up
Brilliant graphics. Particularly loved the sunsets. Neat story, too. I remember Jinty and Pug, having a brief 'walk-on' role in '8 Famous Engines' so its nice to see one of them reappear.
This episode ROCKS!! The storytelling is so good that I never know how terrifying the ending is going to be. This one has the perfect lighthearted spooky touch coupled with faithfulness to the characters. Edward & Gordon’s interactions are wholesome and rich in substance. Fantastic work.
This was a really enjoyable story! I also gotta say the voice actors all fit their roles perfectly too!
Phenomenal start to this year's edition
This was a nice change, a melancholic one, having your legacy tarnished by a stupid rumor. But an excellent job on this one, I would like to see a follow up with George though, a means to finally let him rest
So glad this series is back you are one of my favorite Thomas content creators ever keep up the good work these videos are so creepy and beautifuly shot and they feel unique but still capture that Thomas feeling from the books and classic era seasons .👍
George may have even been the one who blew his whistle when Gordon was stranded in the fog. I think he was simply giving a signal to Edward to where Gordon was. Still doing his work in the afterlife....
Loved this story a lot. Especially the part at the end. It was like George was trying to say hello to Gordon.
I will admit it is a good story but at the same time it's sad too.

if the tank engine died in the forties why would Edward be in his F.R. Livery and Thomas still in the yard? Gordon would have been on sodor for at least 20 years!
The flashback is set before Edward was repainted, and I’m going by TV series timelines where everything is a bit more loose, Gordon’s arrival date isn’t set in stone there. Even if Thomas was on his branch by the time of the second war I think it’s reasonable news from up at Barrow never reached him.

It's interesting that Jinty sounded hip while telling the story of King George the way he did, suggesting he made it up just to frighten Gordon to the frames. 😜However, it's sad to hear how King George met his fate. Good thing he has Edward to help dispel the infamy given to him.
How do you think Gordon's personality was written? I think it was nice to see him as a mature engine.

Great episode! I have a few questions. Firstly was that George's whistle right before Edward arrived? Secondly there isn't going to be any continuation of Sodor Supernatural is there? It's a shame because I wondered what happened to Toby and what happened next afterwards. I also wondered what was in store for The Fog Phantom Part III but I guess we'll never know. But hey it is your channel afterall.
