i love how every studio owner in these videos talks about their wife's clever interior ideas, so sweet man
the natural lighting is everything. i absolutely hate the dark cave-like vibe of nearly every recording studio. this space is absolutely fantastic looking and it's just very airy and fresh, i'm sure it's a real pleasure to record here.

He's obviously very successful and yet he's still incredibly humble, thankful, and appreciative... I dig that more than the studio space itself.

What a space. Incredible. In our little project studio the only nod to comfort was the lead guitarist bringing along a couple of beanbags. Which I would never use because they’ve spent time alone with a lead guitarist
This is now what my dream setup looks like! It has the design and build of a professional facility but the comfort that comes with a home studio. It looks like the ultimate spot to grab inspiration and create art. What an incredible studio build, thank you Andrew for sharing this.

The way they used the space to its fullest, i almost never see anyone do that, people have built studios in a shed or somewhere seperated from their house, but they dont add a bathroom, a kitchen and make it look comfy as hell

one thing i've always wanted to do while cutting vocals is fire up the baratza and get a nice v60 going. my engineer complains about the grinder noise, but i told him thats why i bought RX8 so deal with it.

This studio is sooo well thought out from its trapezoids to golden ratios, bathroom and coffee bar. Run the Rode through that La 610 and I'm in my happy sonic place.

Beautiful. If it were mine I'd probably make a few super tiny changes. Paint the walls a warmer color, white feels a bit sterile. Maybe walnut or something darker for the woods. This shade to my eyes looks a bit like a high school / library or community center. Put a high end fake fireplace in there. Maybe a few vertical ones strategically placed. A couch or two in the live room. Have that open area over the studio (the roof under the outside roof) accessible with a place to relax and a lounge table (maybe a bed up there). Indoor plants. And since it's Tennessee, have a screen / sun room right outside the door where you can relax outside without being eaten alive by mosquitoes.

@@BojanOstojicBlackflagStudio Yes but i think whit a expensive dream studio like this a rode nt1 a is a mockery . I don't think that for a truly professional vocals is necessary an U 87 or more but, the Nt1A, despite is a very good mic for he's price, its a very HOME studio microphone.

@@AndrewMasters I just compared it to your last video with Josh Colby. This one is more stable and you're focusing on the correct parts. Premiere has a 'warp stabilizer' function which fixes shaking when editing, but I think you've improved already.
