Leonardo da Vinci was such an astonishing person, and these games did a great job making him so well liked and respected. You don't have to be a history enthusiast to know his name, and the creative freedom with his machines was such an amazing experience to play through.

Dude Latin was one of the things he didn't learn when he was young. All of his early scientific findings were in Italian. It became a major issue for him, the 'scientific' community didn't acknowledge his work for a long time because of it. He didn't even start learning advanced math or Latin until after he was 30. The reason science didn't get a 100 year boost from Leonardo was because they didn't take the guy seriously. They guy had sketches of a rudimentary robot, he was using scientific method before it became the norm... he had dozens of ideas for inventions or theories that panned out, that could have helped the world to be a better place years ahead of when it did. The whole irony of the man was he wasn't taken seriously as a scientist when he could have helped the world.... and it was because he didn't know Latin and didn't learn it well later on.

Yeah, when I've got some free time sometimes I just enjoy researching historical periods and learning as much as I can, concerning the people and events involved. For that reason, this series is ideal for me to make. I'm so glad you've enjoyed it so far. I hope you stick around for future episodes!

I do the exact same thing, do some light reading and pass my time reading about historical figures. That is why I love AC so much. I will definitely be checking in a few times a week when I have a minute. Keep up the videos bud.

If you look at his dialogue in 2 he would sometimes make slips when talking about other men like out of sexual tension.
In Brotherhood his assistance which in history was rumored to be his sugar baby existed accurately
