Excellent video! I added Paragon wheel spacers a couple days ago. I do however have a question about the coilovers. I have a 3LT with the front lift, will taking the coilovers down to a couple of threads mess up the camber/tow?
John: Your DEFINITELY a Corvette guy. C8 is still an "acquired taste" for me (styling), BUT your tweaks are both thoughtful and personalized which is the point. We are agreed about window tint. ALWAYS the 1st mod for me here in Florida. C8 IS a tremendous performance platform for you to explore upgrades. Have fun with it👍.

De-striping was a must, tint looks great, couldn’t agree more about the factory wheel tuck, never have understood that. Not a fan of most of the C8 wheels but those are not too shabby and black wheels are a favorite of mine, love the contrast especially on a white car. Future Corsa exhaust threw me off, I was looking forward to seeing an exquisitely fabricated titanium exhaust that would drop off 20-30 pounds and sound incredible. Please consider changing your mind, your craftsmanship and attention to detail is what brought me to your channel. Great choice on the C8 by the way.

We want to share what we think is the best bolt on exhaust for the C8 while retaining the sound modes, and we can share this for future potential customers. And 2, it gives us the chance to see how the 2 sets of valves the C8 uses. These will have to be custom made as they are not available in titanium, it will happen though, we just need to learn what it needs to work.
I agree that the stripes had to go. I’m a JDM guy so I like a wheel with some lip and those wheels just don’t do it for me. Also an all black wheel isn’t my thing. Like at least a polished lip and something with some offset that gives some concave dimension to the wheel. Lowering the car always improves the look and gets rid of that wheel gap we all despise. I agree with you that there are no good choices for wheels on the C8. Might need something from the aftermarket. Tint looks good. I agree with you on the 35%. I’ve done 20% but 35% is probably more grown up at our age.

The number of people I see prying off the plastic sleeve the covers the threads of the coilover is insane. I didn't realize it would just spin with the perch!
Lighter wheelset, springs and brakes are the only mods I would do beside a oil catch can. GM already gave the spring rates for both Z06 and Z07 packages for a car that roughly weighs the same. That would be my track set up.
Hi I have a 2020 C8 Z51. I'm lowering on the factory coilovers and installing 20mm wheel spacers like what you did. It really makes the car look much better. My question for you is did you have a wheel alignment done after doing those two mods? If so, where did you have it done at and did it handle differently afterwards. I don't plan to track my car, but I don't want to mess up the great handling the car currently has. Thanks Scott
Agreed! Stripes just spoil the look for me. Another thing I don’t like is the black boomerangs on the sides. I paid $995 extra to have them painted the body color. Cheers!
That's a great looking machine! Did you ended up having to file down those wheel studs to use the spacers? You inspired me to do the same thing. Thanks!
It actually measured out without needing it. I sanded them about 3mm just in case. It still has the dome on the end of the stud. Not sure if the 23 wheels are drilled deeper.
I kinda miss the stripes lol. I think some kinda v shaped graphic might look cool on the hood to compliment the rest of the black. Everything looks great.

Hey John, great video. I just put the 20mm Paragon spacers on and I'm getting some rubbing on front rt tire. Also I feel the back hits bottom when the front lift goes up. I didn't lower it yet on the front w/collars or adjust the coilovers in the rear. Can that be the reason why I'm having these problems?

With those spacers you’re really gonna have to be careful of the curb when parallel parking. Nothing worse than grinding your wheel into the curb when parking...
Bad habit on the Right Turn Stop sign, being turning there everyday for years. Thanks for pointing it out, I will be more cautious on that one. Right turn on Red is fine in Florida if the coast is clear.

I lower them the same time as installing spacers. I’ve not seen rubbing. I would check with Paragon , it might be the problem
Did you have to trim down the wheel studs or did the wheels seat properly as is?
I sanded the very end just to make sure. I took maybe 2mm at the most.

Race Ramps. Get the longest ones as they will allow more clearance for lowered cars. Super useful

Yea. They should have cut around the lettering on the Corvette logo. The carbon flash is nice.
