Definitely worth the money if you can actually find one. The Williams fire sights for the Single Six will fit on the Super Wrangler. Top that off with wood grips and it's nice looking and reliable gun. Work your action a thousand or so times while watching TV and it will smooth out nice. 😉👍 Shouldn't take you long.

@@TADDs101 70960 is correct. Looks great and has super quick sight acquisition and clear picture. Super bright outside. It was extremely easy to put on as well.

I got one in Bronze. I like the looks of it. Lots of fun at the range. I have a single ten which feels more refined, of course, but I still find the trigger on the Super to be crisp and perfectly acceptable.

I just Bought Mine tonight at Bass Pro Shop. Going to put wood grips on it and maybe paint the front sight white . I almost bought the old wrangler because I don’t like the Heritage rough rider the safety is not authentic lol anyway I waited for the adjustable sights and the Magnum cylinder. FYI 22 magnum out of a 5” barrel is around 1200 to 1300 fps comparable to a 22 long rifle out of a 18” barrel. However 22 LR out of 5” barrel is more anemic. So having the magnum barrel is ideal if you’re using it to shoot two or four legged creatures as the 22 LR for snakes and just pure cheap Fun plinking. Having the Magnum cylinder makes the Gun useful for more than family plinking fun but can double as a hunting or self defense. Note please don’t dry fire rim fire guns instead pull the cylinder and replace the cylinder Pin close the loading gate and dry fire away without the cylinder in the gun. You have to put cylinder pin in to cock the Gun. God Bless Happy shooting

I got two Super Wranglers for the money I paid . They are just fine for me, no they won't have the quality of the more costly Ruger. I enjoy mine.

Bite your tongue the 22 magnum is awesome you'll never want to shoot the 22 long rifle again it's traveling almost 2,000 ft per second.. I bought a Ruger precision rifle chambered in a 22 magnum and put a Leupold vx5hd scope on it it's a tac driver !!!!

Possibly, but the later single sixes with the transfer bar have pretty good triggers. I think it’s just a question of refinement for the price.

Great video, Jeff. Do you think it would be possible to gunsmith the Super Wrangler trigger to lighten the pull? It's crazy to have a single action trigger that heavy. Perhaps the overall quality of the action could be improved by polishing all surfaces that are showing wear.
I’m sure it’s possible. Judicious polishing would likely help, as would a spring kit.
I called Cabelas yesterday to see if they had them in stock. I was told there was no listing for them. Was this in stock at your local Cabela’s?

I do the same thing when irh factory trigger locks. I leave them with the FFL if they'll take them.

That triggers probably going to loosen up a little one when you get it broke in a little more. All the parts are new and you can always. I don't know about those, but I have in the past lightened up the spring by adjusting a little lighter. You don't want it too light anyway with 22s just saying

How do you know until you try
Ruger quality is not what it used to be. Bought a Ruger Blackhawk 45 convertible and the accuracy was all over the place. Have shot better groups with a shotgun! My old Ruger Stainless 6" 357 Mag Security Six that I carried as a duty weapon for many years is still a tack driver.
I’ve heard that the chamber throats need to be opened up on the new blackhawks sometimes
