The style is dripping off the screen, and the character design matches that aesthetic. I'll need to see to believe that the camera wont get too cluttered, but it might be a really good choice with the underground setting.

Definitely a unique setting to place a Beat-em-Up in. LEGO Power Miners meets old Hong Kong Martial Arts flick. Clash: Artifacts of Chaos also had a cool world, some kind of strange prehistory full of monster creatures where no two are alike (Barring the wildlife). Stuff like a fat featherless turkey man with mushrooms growing out and over his body like a weird garment, a pale blue vaguely feline person with a second lower arm growing out her right arm with a British accent, a three-legged blue moose man with a face that looks like it got squished into his torso, and some *giant* fella based on a Platybelodon. And the main character looks like a carrot grew a humanoid body with a head like a sore thumb with a grumpy face. Definitely recommend checking that one out. I've mainly described setting, but the gameplay is also like a beat-em-up and quite solid, with stuff like obtaining and assigning different Stances and Special Attacks.

I tried this gem on the Steam Next Fest 2024, its like a extraction looter, with stealth mechanics and melee combat a la SIFU style, the combat is really fun so are every mechanic so far. I believe adding some counterattack mechanics would be really fun, you know like after parry especial attacks. Do not rush the development on this one guys you got a great game in your hands and definitely going the right way. Good Luck with this project!

Gave it a go and didn't regret it. My only complaint is that holding down a button mid-combo isn't consistent. Unless I very consciously pause between my last attack and my heavy attack it'll just continue quick attacking. That aside, the stealth and combat banged. Only got better when I realized the items I picked up weren't just for stealth. Got caught by two guards, caged one got the other to half health, parried a blow, zapped em, and kept hitting em till it was a 1v1. Great system. Can't wait to see how it develops as you go deeper into the facility. I expect to see some undodgable and unparryable moves as we delve deeper, or at least I hope I see them.
I know nothing about the game except for what i've seen in this trailer. This seems very unique and should definitely have it's lace in the gaming community. Well done!

Just wanted to drop a comment and say that this has to be one of the most stylish stealth games I've ever played. Having the text "RAW" come up after wiping the floor with a guard is such a great feeling, especially for this to be in early alpha. I cannot wait to see this finished.
Never played it or tried it but that game looks promising since the mixture of both fighting in CQC and stealth sounds like metal gear solid. overall, the way the designs are simple yet unique.

The Sifu-like has been born. I'm all for it. Artstyle and animation looks a hell of a lot like Furi too. Probably my favorite game ever made. EDIT: These guys in the comments comparing this to Godhand. 😂
@@colbyboucher6391 This game is nooooothing like Godhand. Have you people even played it yet? 😂 Its a damn rogue lite. Sifu doesn't play anything like Godhand either. Godhand has aerial combos and is far more like Devil may Cry and Bayonetta than Sifu ever was.

This game looks awesome, like a mix between Sifu and Hotline Miami.

It looks like it plays like godhand, really pretty to look at too.
