@@ClassicGuy57 some one from the set begged to have a season 5 but universal did not want to go he even said I will give you something thousand dollars universal said no it's costing us to much to use our back lots so it's them that canceled it not bad railings it was all a lie if you have one of Joe Huth's books read it it's on last pages how tge guy tried so hard for a season 5

Bruno Mars to the rescue from the car thieves...
It’s weird in the show, that when they mention the molecular bonded shell formula, they don’t actually say what the key components or ingredients to it. I think it’s better not to say what it is. It works with the uniqueness of the show. Anyone agree?
Actually if you listen carefully in the episode "Good day at White Rock" KITT in his early days innocently almost gives up the formula.
The ingredients for the moleculair bonded shell is sugar spice and everything nice
Maybe, but I don't think the writers had any ideas for the scientific names for the molecules that made up the formula. So they simply didn't create any.
It's a bit like how the driver of the truck semi is never seen or named either! Part of that 80s charm 🤣
Fluorspar, hydrofluoric acid, chloroform and water. That’s the formula.
4:27 That chair Nordstrom's sitting in, that looks like the same chair that appears in Star Trek: The Next Generation on the Starship Enterprise in Captain Picard's sleeping quarters. Though in TNG, it changes colour to a mauve purple colour. Don't know if this could be the same chair that was re-padded or if these were just commonly designed swivel chairs round that time.
It's probably the same model of chair. I doubt it's the same chair as NBC and Paramount were not related companies. If you notice in the labs in other clips of this episode there's blinking panels of green strips. Those same style appear in Star Trek II on the Enterprise walls. I think it's just set decorators getting the same art / furniture.
Interesting fact: John Cosidine played Philip nordstrom and Boyd LaSalle(in Season 3 when Micheal got suspended from FLAG and worked for Boyd to steal Kitt and kill Devon which was fake)
This show had a terrible habit of recycling the same actor in different roles. Watching this show as a kid, it used to always confuse me!
Not really a interesting fact many shows do that also knight rider re use their own scenes many times

I assume the evil devon was just Devon acting totally opposite of how he usually is.....we see a glimpse of Mr Elliot in the chair before the switch....we can't assume Mr Elliot transformed into the evil Devon....

I thought he had the best hair in season 3.
Also, I definitely think seasons 3 and 4 were the best. 2 had very good eps too. 1 was my least favoriter but the pilot ep rocked.

The answer may depend on how Nordstrom went bad. That's one of the mysteries also but I know his overpriced store has been in decline for many years lol🤣

It's strange how the 1st time we see Mr Elliot he is in the chair sitting next to Devon....right before Mr Elliot gets copied. Then we only see the real Devon and The Mr Elliot Devon.....how in the world did the fake Devon speak in Mr Elliot's voice??? Was the real Devon's voice(edward mulhare) dubbed over by Mr Elliot's voice??!!
Big question is: how was Michael able to walk out with the fake devon while we see the real devon look at them leave from above!!!
