ABOUT KNIGHT RIDER:
David Hasselhoff stars as Michael Knight in his breakout role as a crime fighter who awakens from a serious injury with a new identity. In the series premiere, Las Vegas police detective Michael Arthur Long is shot in the face and left for dead before being rescued by dying millionaire Wilton Knight, the chairman of Knight Industries and creator of the public justice organization, the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG). Wilton makes Michael the primary agent for FLAG, giving him a new identity via plastic surgery and the name Michael Knight, plus an arsenal of equipment to continue his crime-fighting work. Principle among this equipment is the Knight Industries Two Thousand, or KITT, a heavily modified and artificially intelligent Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with the ability to talk, fire weapons and travel at high speed. Michael and KITT work together to take down criminals who operate above the law.

This really shows the difference in Devon's attitude towards Michael's missions. This Early episode, Devon thinks it's great that Michael wants a Vacation. Later on he just about has a fit everytime Michael wants to have a vacation instead of about 1-2 missions per week.

I used to watch it when i was 10 its been 35 years
what does relax mean....kinda like when I put you in neutral.... :-) man these dialogues between KITT and Michael are still every bit as funny entertaining and awesome as they have been when the show aired for the first time was brand new way back when.
I didn't know Devon disliked Michael this much in episode 4 still wow. Glad they became friends later. Also Devon was exaggerated too much as a snob early on. They made him more normal later.
I think that's why I liked the early episodes best - They are all rather sarcastic towards one another
One of the few times you'll ever see Michael Knight packing heat.
How come we don't see Micheal with a gun more often?

Episodes like this showed that FLAG took on any case no matter how big or small

A love this time
The beginning and ending of this episode was amusing. This episode, however, does parallel an A-Team episode that I also enjoy.
Pretty sure that one is called Bad Day at Black Rock and this one is the opposite Good Day at White Rock lol

This is absurd. Please tell me how this show could even be popular back then. It's so terrible
Requirements were totally different in the '80s. Knight Rider was definitely considered as a good show back then. It lasted 4 seasons long and had 99 episodes. And still, many people know what KR and K.I.T.T. is. ;)
Obviously if you watch it now when you're 30 you will find it trash but back then or if you are only 7 you will find this show is so great
@@MrQuicheProductions Even now, it is escapist fun. The soundtrack is epic, some of the best precision driving ever done for a TV Show, great practical stunts -- the cornball storylines add to the campy fun.
