I think the pitch shift pretty great haha, the reverb and onboard effects are pretty handy too. Really great portable recording workstation, thanks for demonstrating how these work because I would never have known about these as an option for on the road record it.
@@GetOffset omg, this is going on my 'list' of things that i 'need' and possibly on my list of things i need without quotes, like microphones and those sorry cables
How many banks of 8 pads are available directly from the unit itself? Rodecaster Pro has 8 banks of 8 pads making 64 sounds directly available. Great video by the way!
Damn this whole review just for that dealbreaker of an issue with the bluetooth channel picking up mic 1. That's insane, I've been looking into this but I'm officially afraid to buy it now. Edit: Theres no way that was from the mic on the phone, right? That wouldn't make sense. It seemed like literally your mic channel 1 was bleeding into the bluetooth channel which would make this unusable for a live show.
Oh god yeah, I don't know why it did that but I don't know WHY it would've been from the mic on the phone. I'm not sure that would make it unusable at a live show but it does seem like a bug. I've since used the DLZ Creator by Mackie for podcast audio at other events and I didn't have nearly as many issues as I did with this Tascam.@@bobbyman7291
Tried it, didn’t like it, tried the rodecaster duo, didn’t like it. These are really crap, totally amateur crap, have moved back to an Audient interface and a nice warm audio preamp, now I get nice clean audio.
I spent much of the 90’s making-demos on a Tascam porta-studio. It was a great little machine.
One of my first pieces of recording hardware was a tascam too!
@@GetOffset It’s still in one of my brother’s closets. Someday, I’ll mix that stuff down and release it. ☮️

Thank you for this video. I am trying to learn how to edit more efficiently.
Hope this was helpful!
It's giving me all sorts of brand based nostalgia for my old portastudio
Did you see the new generation loss has modes based on the portacapture

Can you record directly to the sound pads?
do u try to record or karaoke something ? how about the qulity about music?
Well, it's a podcast mixer, so I mixed a podcast on it.
Josie and the Pussycats is a cinematic masterpiece, I own the soundtrack on vinyl
It amazing!
Could you please help me? I'm trying to figure out how to hook it to my android phone for streaming
I'm sorry, I don't know the first thing about using this with android.
Is itdo u recommended for guitar players?
Sure! It's not really made specifically for guitar but you could record to this just fine
@@GetOffset is it possible to stream from iPhone by using this one with all audio effects reverb echo? Thank u .

I'm sorry, I really don't remember. Do you have a timestamp where that was happening?
@@GetOffsetat 18:45 is you fixing it in post. It's when the Bluetooth channel was picking up your microphone before and after the song.

Wow I really don't remember this video at all. I wonder if they fixed that with firmware.

Sorry to hear that
