I don't. Omega's meant to be upgraded by Weil, so it makes sense for it to be a simple palette swap of Zero rather than for it to be the X series frame.

I would have liked it to be a transition body between the X-era and Elf Wars-era reploid bodies. Like how they started looking different in X8 and Command Mission, but further along the road. I think there was an Archie Comics image of the X heroes fighting during the Elf Wars, and some of them looked like that transition I'm thinking of.

all of you are wrong. it is zero's original body. the game devs said it, the only reason the look is different is because they reimagined the art style for the gba and that means you have to imagine backwards with the x-series in zero series art style for it to make sense.
