I think this song perfectly captures the essence of humanity. When two sides meet, and both of them finally understand, after all the grief, after all the fights, that in the end both of them want what's best. The realisation AS you are killing your foe that what they wanted isn't so far off from what you yourself are seeking, but that the unfortunate minute differences ultimately mean you can't reach a compromise. I love the Megaman feel this song has for a final boss, and also how it describes that while both want the same, methods matter and it has to end in violence regardless of how much both of them agree on ideals.

by the far the best song in the game at least in my opinion since it's intense yet not as dramatic as the others, it just feels different more peaceful and calm in a way as it sprouts a beautiful end truly fitting for a final boss fight just an absolute beautiful aged piece of art and wonderfully shows respect to both armstrong & raidens character

I did the senator fight with only one health upgrade on my first playthrough. I had no idea why the boss was so hard until I saw a video of someone fighting the boss like 2 weeks after I beat it with a ton of health.

I did the senator fight with only one health upgrade on my first playthrough. I had no idea why the boss was so hard until I saw a video of someone fighting the boss like 2 weeks after I beat it with a ton of health.
Metal Gear Rising is just a masterpiece. The fandom isn't toxic and despite being really popular because memes, the community is more than just a meme. I really want to play it, too badly my pc is garbage and i can't. The popularity is absolutely deserved.
