Wow I do not know where to start. I first heard Crime,Crisis, Quietest and Breakfast as a school child. I first heard this album at age 52. It sounds so much like Gypsy, Genesis, King Crimsom of that time.
It brings me back to the days of being an innocent lad moving from PA to s Florida in 1980.. I love this track in particular, but Roger and the boys killed it!! ,'have all their work on vinyl.
Was very happy to find the vinyl at the record store years ago with a nice joint back in the day ☮️. Thought the cover is bizarre and the music inside a masterpiece of sound and lyrics.
@@jlbaker2000 I’m not sure this album was ever released with gatefold sleeve but I may be wrong (all of the discogs copies I’ve looked at don’t seem to say they have gatefold) but still if u found a joint must have been a bonus right 😂

Richard Palmer James wrote lyrics for King Crimson during the Larks-Red era. David Gilmour played on Brother Where You Bound, so that one technically had the guitarist's influence.

I don't understand why this album isn't more highly rated. It has some stunning songs on it.
Somehow I like the fact that this album is a hidden gem. Anyway, I don´t crave for acknowledgement to the things I like ;)
I love how magical Supertramp's first album sounds. Different from the rest of their repertoire, yet still familiar and still beautiful.

That Hammond organ is the instrument that needs to be resurrected in albums today. Perfect sound for the background.

There's copyright issues with the record label. I got a 6 month ban from TH-cam for posting this years ago.

Roger Hodgson acabou virando baixista neste disco.O guitarrista é Richard Palmer, fazendo ai uns fraseados fantásticos.
Compré el CD de éste álbum en NY en 1988, lo compré sin conocerlo. No me arrepiento, EXELENTE BANDA !!!
