This is the best! Period! Molly Ringwald was really enjoying it! She was great in the Breakfast Club! A tremendously powerful movie about teen years! I will tell you one thing, I was into my 7th year of teaching and watching the Breakfast Club helped make me a better teacher! Thanks to all who made the movie possible!🤗
I find it awesome that they had Molly Ringwald introduce them! With the Breakfast Club and all. Awesome! Then the pictures on the screen! Just lovely...
I just love how those "artists" like Ed Sheeran and other no-names stand there and just don't know what to do. I guess it's the moment they realised how far from the Simple Minds' greatness they are. And Jim is like "yeah kids, look and learn, there's so much for you to work on"
Seen then twice in Glasgow,,once in Sheffield and Jim and Charlie at Night of the Proms Stockholm Sweden with a Orchestra...Simply Amazing, plus i got to shake Jims hand during Waterfront :-) best live act around..after 40 years
Like when ACDC took the stage at the start of the Grammys #GAGA came in her nickers no one only Dave Grol new what was going on.. by the time they realized the Grammys wer over after first 3.68minutes #Simple minds class
The 80's rocks the world and you can see it from young artists. Sorry to say young artists will never reach that peak only because the lack of heart and meaning in their music.
@@lunafringe10 What are you talking about? They still are making music and great music at that. They released and album last year, they are one of the few 80s new wave bands that continue to release material since they started.
The very best moments of this video are when Molly Ringwald appears along to Taylor Swift. For those who don’t know who Molly is, all I have to say is that she was the star of The Breakfast Club movie (1985), were this song debuted. Molly was hot then and we realize still she is.

I was born in 69 so I'm an 80's kid through & through, I now have a 14 year old son who loves 80's films & music, I'm well chuffed.
The 80's, Breakfast club forever! And Simple Minds, We will Never Forget about you!
The best music ever for a movie...i love simple minds at its starts in the 80's...

At 3:27 Ed Sheeran looks like he just came out the box, lost in the wind, jajaja, or He's just pretending to be, come on man this is a classic.
Pure Musicians back on the days...shame for new generation and I'm 17....
Props to Taylor Swift. She knows how much this song means to Molly Ringwald
So amazing...Much Respect for him.....ALL those GAGA type of musician should learn from Him the best.....This video is very clear and audible.
+Male Isac Couldn't agree more! Thanks and all the best

Legendary sound by an equally extraordinary band. This is REAL music.

Charlie Burchill is so underrated.

Donnchoooo .... Where the hell is Derek Forbes?, bring him back please Jim and Charlie,
Ahahahah he left in 1985 man! Where have you been meanwhile? 😳😂
The simple minds???
even Jlo and Taylor Swift surrender to this masterband!!
Bet quite a lot of people there don't actually know the song or have just heard a bit of it.
they didnt create anything new since the 1980s. why? Too rich? The Stones are still on tour.

Ed sheeran thinking, I can I write music this good?
Am I the only one who is fascinated by the boy in the black shirt with a total lack of rhythm? 😅
