Dec. 1985. Driving licence rookie. First journey with my two best friends to Cortina d'Ampezzo (into placed family caravan all winter) without my parents. 350Km, old Ford tiny car 900cc from my town nearby Rimini. 6 hours of Simple Minds 🙂 I think we listened 30 times "Don't you forget about me..". In Cortina, thanks to my cousin, we met a group of girls which studied in local secondary school (wood and textil arts). Someone of them from Corvara, Belluno, or Pustertal. There was a skinny pretty girl, short hair, like Patsy Kensit but brown. I was very shy at that time so I can't understood if something I felt was the same also for her. So I investigated the matter some months later back with another friend (he completed military duty two weeks before). So during an evening winter walk at -15°C I was finally alone with Lorenza, hand by hand for the first time. My friend and the girl from Corvara some tens of meter ahead.
