I'm a 62 year old non swimmer who has tried unsuccessfully to learn over the years. If only it was as easy and simple as you portray in the video!

Great video! For those who expect to go from nothing to do all this in the pool on their first session, sorry, it will take a while longer (it took me a few years in fact). Try each part separately - the pull (in Part 2) is easy enough - but do it with the freestyle kick to get the hang of it. The kick is by far the hardest - particularly flexing the feet - try this at home on the sofa/bed/ or bench to get extra practice in 🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍👍

I can somehow do this frog like kick easily while doing underwater swimming and even coordinate it with my hand strokes. But can't do it at all during breast stroke. Head and legs don't coordinate at all I don't know why.

This is so much to take in! I’ve never been able to do breaststroke so I want to practice, but the time I get to the pool I will have forgotten it all 😭

    • @JulioGabriel
      @JulioGabriel 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

You can do it! If you forgot easily, try to just remember one of the step. And take it slow, seriously take it slow.

Watch more times , take keys points , practice it mentally or at home in floor then you will remember in a better way

Practice it in your bed, do like 5 sets of 10 reps throughout the day (this will make the mouvement feel more natural), then the day after when you have a swimming session it will feel more natural inchallah. :)

Buy a swim board and a pullboey.
Swimboard for training the leg kick with head over water.
The pullboay for training the armstroke with head under water.
      Always remember the stages:
      1. Head over water.
      2. Arms go forward. at the same time head goes under water and you do your kick.
      3. Be in straight position till you slow down.
      4.Armstroke and come up again.
      Repeat.

If ur head is above water ur spine wants to follow so not only are u fighting water but ur fighting ur own spine. Try practicing ur breathing so u can put ur head under water and move faster with less work. U won’t be so easily tired.

    • @manavsingh7378

Hand positioning is not too important.
Just make sure your hands are together, ahead of your head, and pointed to cut through water.

well shortly before he says the kick is a constant motion and you should not break it up. the triangle kick looks to me like hes pausing when his legs are pulled up to his butt and he sticks then straight out and pauses and then brings them in kinda In the shake of a triangle
