Nicely filmed! Very good lighting in the shop so the details could be seen. Nice delving into the tensioners - something we don't see enough of in other videos. All of us who need to do this job in a home garage appreciate videos like this. Thanks!!
You have made, what i consider a challenging job, seem easier to accomplish with your direction and all of the torque values! It is much appreciated that you put together an AWESOME video for all of us out here to share with you...
Hiya, great video. My car has camshaft sensor code, upon checking the “sensor wheel “ reluctor wheel, seem lose. Do I need to fully re-time the engine. Or can I just thighten the nut ? And also what timing tools are you using please?
Hi can you offer me some advice if possible....my right hand bank vanos is holding at 18' when the left is at zero...ruff ideal and a little low on power
What brand is the OEM timing kit? I was about to buy a timing kit in Australia from a local autoparts store but it comes in a blue case and looks similar to the Satra kit that you featured.
There are two holes in the upper timing covers that coincide with the holes in those sensor readers. Can you verify that after adjusting those pads with the original tools, those holes in the timing covers line up with the holes in those pads?
I saw that you use a SWAG timing kit, what do you think of it? I am about to change the timing chain on the E46 320D M47, 136h.p (it is about 390k km), can I use the same kit, would you recommend it? Thanks!

Thank you whoever invented closed caption. Where is this guy from originally?
He is from Bulgaria.
@@carolnagy6180 thank you. My friend on the BMW repair TH-cam channel “the keen mechanic “ is from Bulgaria and they sound nothing alike.
Listen to what he is saying not the accent.
Excellent video, thank you so much for sharing!

I'm not sure, maybe Hazet, but doubt they are still making it anymore

You mean the camshaft sensor holes? Everything is fine with the car, no fault codes or issues with the engine so far.
@@crank3646 Not. There are two holes, one on each side into which 2 torx head screws are threaded. See in the video below.
Ако сменям само вериги задължително ли е да се развиват ваносите и да се замерват или мога да ги зацепя в заварено положение благодаря предварително 😊
Не мисля че е възможно да ги смениш без да ги развиеш
