    yeah buddy i always admire your content since i fell in love with your iOS tutorials many years ago. That grimey steezy style, your phenomenal performances, the humor, the well thought out clean edits, the immense research you organize, the detailed in depth explanations (that use to contain more of the classic broken english), and I mean, those groovy dance moves/BASSface(s) whilst witnessing you becoming HYPED with your creative widdling abouts. I will always advocate sir HAQ's a lot. Keep up the great works and many thanx again...

    Hello Jakob … congratulations for your good job about this question ! So the problem is that when you are on live situation is not to easy for network configuration because the place where you have to perform network not so good and you depand of the host connection and sometimes not so good ! Then to be independent of that actually I try a connection between my iPads with a smart router GL inet … but not sure that it work well ! Have you another solution to resolve this problem thanks 🙏

    Newbie here! Love your work, Jakob. My question for you and fellow devotees is: Can the audio on the connected devices be wirelessly routed to a central device for amplification in a live setting to avoid need for a mixer? Can AUM/Abelton Link achieve this? If so, have you already done a video on it? From what I can tell, all audio in your very cool scenario is coming from the speaker in each individual device. Thanks, Mike in Oz.

    • @JakobHaq

      That network thing is for syncing and sending MIDI over network. It’s been available for most iOS apps for ages but I’ve always felt that it’s very unstable/laggy so I never use it.

    Jakob, fantastic vid as usual man. I'm kind of sprung on PureAcid lately.. coupled with Arturia Beatstep. Mainly for controlling parameter knobs and volume fader. PureAcid's drum maschine is nice❗
    I use Korg nanokontrol2 for AUM volume, mute, solo, record, panning and transport controls. Honorable mentions; forever faithful to Rebirth. It's my all time favorite. I'm a Propellerhead fanatic since Reason 1.0, way back in the day, up to version 11. Haven't upgraded to 12 yet.
    Poison 202, Koala Sampler, Synth One, and Figure are dope. I think my TD-3 and Touch Bassline TB-3 may be jealous.. lol. Keep up the great work. 👊🏽😏

    • @hansendesigns
      @hansendesigns 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How are you doing with Beatstep? I heard someone say it’s wonky on ios 15...

    • @nemoitrex9643
      @nemoitrex9643 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hansendesignsA couple of the knobs are, indeed, a bit wonky on iOS. Particularly with PureAcid. Transport controls are fine.
      When controlling cutoff and resonance knobs in PureAcid, if twisting Beatstep knobs too fast, sometimes movements aren't precise in PureAcid. Knob skips slightly, in the direction being twisted. Not a deal breaker though.
      However, when twisting knobs smoothly and slower they do fine. Beatstep works perfectly with my hardware gear, software programs and plugins on my MacBook Pro.
      Come to think of it, knobs are precise in Koala Sampler.. volume, panning, pitch and Koala effects. Maybe a slight code adjustment can tighten things up in PureAcid. Thanks for your question. Hope this helps❗👊🏽😏

    @ballardvibes 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice! Now which App do you use to mix and match the music? LumaFusion?

    • @JakobHaq
      @JakobHaq  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As a music producer I like having proper tools for all of my audio editing wether it’s music or narration. So I never edit audio in video editors. I always bring all of my audio into a DAW (Cubasis) for editing and processing. I then send the mastered finished materials (narration track, music demo, background music) back to the video editor (LumaFusion).

    • @ballardvibes
      @ballardvibes 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JakobHaq Thanks for the reply. I don’t have Cubasis but I have Beatmaker3 and maybe this will work too. I’ve been trying to figure out how to make the audio sound better and didn’t think about using a DAW🤷🏽‍♂️😊

    • @JakobHaq
      @JakobHaq  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I usually put all of my video together in LumaFusion first. And I work in a way so that I always have all of the audio on separate tracks. When my editing is done I export the audio only to a DAW, (channel by channel). I then add EQ, compressors and other stuff to all of it and make sure I’ve got a balanced mix. I then master it with proper metering so that That the final overall level hits around 14dB LUFS (that’s what TH-cam wants). After that I export the whole thing and replace all of the audio tracks in the video editor with that one mastered track. I do this for all of my videos.
      There are occasions where I work on the audio first and then add it to the video, but that’s when I make music videos. In that case I need the music first so I can add video to it.

  • @bernieburnalot

    I like your screen recording idea. But I had to give it a thumbs down, because in LumaFusion you cannot do sample accurate syncing. LumaFusion only deals with FPS. And whatever DAW you are using, it’s going to be guesswork.For musicians, the guesswork is not usually labor-intensive. But if you were to do this for an entire set, it would be a nightmare. This is not a solution, sorry. But as I said though it’s a really good idea.

    • @LillySchwartz
      @LillySchwartz 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like you’re not aware of how people edit their videos: To the beat of music! If video editors can figure out how to edit to the beat in lumafusion, then musicians will have no problem syncing things up. By far the easiest way is to record overhead video as well while monitoring via the speakers to have a reference for sync. Then all you need to do is line up each clip to the sound of the overhead video and export each channel individually as audio. Just look up any tutorial on multicam editing and you’ll see how. Once you’ve exported the individual channels, you can take the synced audio clips into a DAW to mix and master. Multicamera editing to a beat really isn’t rocket science and easily doable in LumaFusion!

    • @bernieburnalot
      @bernieburnalot 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LillySchwartz Clearly, you haven’t attempted to do this using LumaFusion. It’s much easier with FCP, or Premier.
