+RayShadow278 Its actually possible to get that kind of air time without using Human PLUS/OP-I. Its pretty funny making Ultimate Zinaida bash her head into the ceiling over and over because her AI is programmed to stay above you.
Its Funny how the story of Armored Core from AC3 was (The game i started) they(corporations) form an alliance to remain in power after the Controllers fall the Ravens...end and years after the Lynx arrive from the sky (AC4 trailer) to end the remnants of the past generation (All the AC2/AC3 models specifically Crest) the Lynx end in For answer and all is chaos (ACV Trailer) all because no Ravens were left due to the events of Last Raven. If I am leaving something out please correct it.
As much as I love this game, one thing has always annoyed me. It's too hard to break any part other than the legs and core, even with a shield. Heck it may not look like it but it is possible to destroy Evangel's left arm in this mission, but you'll need something super strong like a pile to do it and your best chance at making it happen is at the start of the fight. He will always charge you the exact same way at the start. xD
if you wanan bust hisarms in this fight your most likely gonna have ot blade him, considering he has the MOONLIGHT he has the same shot at busting your arms or worse if you charge at him he staggers you with hisback grandeguns or linear gun and then blades you
So I got an emulator to test this out cause I gotta know why. Turns out it *IS* too hard to reliably break any part except the legs and core. I originally thought that all that mattered was where the attack hit but that's not it. The major, if not only, deciding factor is *where the attack came from* and how much of your overall AP you've lost from that side. It defeats the system mostly. Gotta lose like 4000AP to lose any part regardless of how squishy or tough the part really is. Basically you have to be enough (sometimes perpendicular) to Evangel's left side to knock off his arm. And as far it happening to you is concerned, you'd have to let them get to your side to take off your arm(s), or roll a tank/quad to increase the likelyhood that your head will be destroyed.
Well, for the PsP port, which you can tell this is from the psp exclusive parts being used, they made Evangel’s arms impossible to blow off, that was only doable in the OG version on ps2. Likewise for Zinaida, you can damage her parts but for her final form, they made them all unbreakable. (Also, the other reason it’s so hard to break certain parts/test part breaking, is because of SUPER shit coding for the hit boxes, sadly. Seriously, by far the worst and most lazily coded hit boxes in any Fromsoft game to date)
Am I the only person that almost exclusively used a tank leg ac. I played all armored cores for ps2 religiously for years, heck I still play it from time to time. In all of them I spent most of my time in a tank leg. I had a middleweight biped on standby, but I went through them all in a tank leg. I watch all these videos on the game and not once have I seen a tank leg ac used.
Pandu Gumelar thank god. I am going through silent line right now trying to use a light biped and I am struggling. For me it's always been tanks with a combination of karasawa bazookas and chain guns.
Same! Tank legs are the way! We are the master race lol! Once you figure out how to make people pay for getting too close its really competitive. I would say LR made that a bit more difficult given the meta of the game but its still very doable. Just gotta manage your cooling and damage racing ability
What shader did you use? and what option did you have? I'm trying to play this on PCSX2 1.5 and I get nothing but the black screen of blindness every time i used hardware mode.
Last Raven is a war between the Alliance and Vertex. The Alliance was created by the results of the suicide drones at the ending of Nexus weakening the corporations so much theat they formed into one corp. Vertex is led by Jack-O and he doesn't want the Alliance to rule so he gathers a group of Ravens. The Pulverizers is the robot appearing at the end and they're a third faction but you cant join them.
*Moon* PolarCross Some of the more main Ravens in the war are: Evangel- leader of Alliance's Tactical Unit and the alliance's strongest Raven, Jack-O - leader of Vertex and a powerful Raven who has a pretty strange agenda overall, and Zinaida- a powerful Raven who is mainly independent and challenges other Ravens to prove to herself that she's a "Dominator"
some of the events of Last raven dont add up if you havent played Nexus TLDR :2 Factions at war Alliance(former corporations) and Vertex, its leader Jack--O discovered something in the old city and is trynig ot use it to end the war, turns out htis was a VERY bad Idea. now for SPOILERS! the Thing Jack-O found is called the Internecine, a facility that commands and produces the suicide weapons that ravaged the world at the end of Nexus, this same facility also started to produce more complex machines one of whihc being the Pulverizers, AnTI AC killing machines that use combat data to self improve. As the story devlops all the important characters realize the Internecine Must be stopped(Before it creates a pulverizer that cannot be stopped), from here you get a bunch of what if scenrarios, the game has 6 different endings(7 once you do everything) some of which include Jack-O himself attempts to destroy the internecine, but someone beat him ot it(implied ot have been Zinaida) and he wants to be remembered so he turns on you(something happened ot him since you find him near dead and with his AC in a realy bad shape) You yourself go to destroy it and face a pulverizer that was commandeered by Evangel(this is a weird one because it implies the pulverizers are built ot be able ot take human pilots) you get to the already shutdown Internecine only ot find Zinaida there and fight herfor the title of "Last raven"(Hardest 1v1 fight in this game especially on the psp version) you arrive just as zinaida got killed by a Modified pulverizer and you gotta deal with it(this pulverizer uses some fairly exotic weapons) and so forth..
I always figured that the Internecine had been copying the design of AC's so much by then that they included cockpits and human interface controls. The Internecine strikes me as remarkably stupid, an Expert System fulfilling a function rather than an AI. So when Evangel gets in and starts up the Pulverizer the Internecine doesn't do anything to stop it. Or, you know, he already got to the actual control room and disabled the autonomy of the Internecine in that route. The whole situation is quite interesting really, and the ending of Nexus/setup to Last Raven is a pretty bold plot-line to actually make. The player screwed up terribly and died? The whole planet was devastated by that? Some literary chutzpah right there. Last Raven holds the title of most interesting plot in my opinion, with AC4's actually having a Destruction branch taking second. Because holy cow is that darker than black!
@@Sorain1 I find Armored Core 3's ending to be both naive and romantic at the same time. I enjoy it for what it is. It's basically "Humans win" We won our freedom. And our right to either continue to destroy ourselves. Or learn from our mistakes and adapt. In the end we keep fucking shit up. But at least we took control back over our own destiny, right guys? Lol, it's great really. You could end the series there. But when we wouldn't get Silent Line, or LR.
That final blade at the end was such an appropriate way to finish this battle
I appreciate shining being Evangels unofficial theme song
This fight's so much better with the Nexus OST you edited in.
Fitting since Evangel was also in Nexus.
NEXUS intro theme is so sick
That ridiculous air time makes me want to fight Ultimate Zinaida with Human PLUS activated
+RayShadow278 Its actually possible to get that kind of air time without using Human PLUS/OP-I. Its pretty funny making Ultimate Zinaida bash her head into the ceiling over and over because her AI is programmed to stay above you.
its been 6 years, but dayum your sight is puny.
but he was so cool in the intro!
I find it hilarious that a handgun that size is capable of being a hanger unit. Maybe it folds up or something.
IIRC, it’s a replica part from Armored Core 2. There were no hangars back then, so handguns weren’t designed to look like they could be stored.

And Ac6 lores remains unknown
@@mr.cantillasz1912 all we know of ac 6 is just basically new corpo found new resource, resource can blast nuke 10 fold or somethin... that's ut
That music that you edited in was really good man fit the fight really well
funny how they give him a new AC in this game, because his old one doesnt have a bazooka to spam at you for the sake of "difficulty"
Is this evangel the same one that pilot the oracle?
@@jasontodd9947yep.
@@jasontodd9947 yes, the AC is still called Oracle. he basically just upgraded his AC between Nexus and Last Raven
i like how its called evangels sacrifice even though
hes trying to kill you if your skilled
enough it basicly is a sacrifice
bmgetinawywithmurdr do you know what ost is playing at 0:22?
Armored Core Nexus ost shining.
Alex Moor thanks!...is that ost usually playing at this part if the game or was it an edit by the creator of the video?
It's an edit.
Same for Galaxy Heavy Blow which plays in the 2nd half of the fight.
Proper finish via saber, as form demands
