I wouldn’t count the office as a copy, Ricky gervais had a lot of say in its production so it keeps a lot of the original charm and doesn’t feel like a rip off. (Not my cup of tea though I much prefer the original)

Nah I love my boy Shubham. He is literally the sweetest person on the show and he genuinely likes everyone except for Miranda. But his only downside is that he is very trusting in other people. But anyway we love Shubham.

Although he didn't seem to understand why Mercedez/Karen did what she did and that kind of bothered me.
I loved Shubham cause he was adorable and sweet but I wish he was a little more empathetic to why someone would catfish...he only seemed ok when it was Rebecca. Also, it is annoying when people are so black and white to the idea of social media and influencers.
See I don't see him as sweet lmao. I felt he was kind of a hypocrite which imo happens when people are self-aware of how academically great they are they start becoming blind to other viewpoints and opinions. His issue was though he is not vindictive he would only see his own very narrow viewpoints unless it was someone he liked then that same issue was never an issue. I wish the host had kind of called him out on all that instead because literally, no one did..

I’ve dated a first generation ITALIAN-American who spoke ITALIAN at home, an Italian that his family came over generations ago, & a literal ITALIAN dude from italy and they were ALL EXACTLY THE SAME. Like to the point it becomes predictable.
Think about any show w an Italian American.... whether it’s The Godfather or Jersey Shore- the dude’s are OBSESSED with their mother, fanatically clean, fanatically obsessed w their appearance, and they treat women LITERALLY like they’re collecting tokens they can save up for a new car. And macho male hyper masculine behavior is forced on them so hard from childhood they usually either end up with literal issues around their gender, or they are closeted.
You think I’m being stereotypical? Go live in NY for a year. Obviously not 100% of them are this way but I forgot to include the most important part..... because they’re all so insecure about their masculinity, it’s most dangerous when a group of them are together bc they try to “one up” each other on what womanizers they are. Like in New York. I don’t want to hear it until you’ve lived in New York, Providence, or northern Jersey for at least a year- preferably as a fair female.... Irish is most attractive to them as are ITALIAN guys to IrishAmerican girls bc we grew up being told not to date one another so it makes you want to lol. Also, they’re usually darker and were lighter and people are typically attracted to those who DONT look like their family members lol.

Actually this isn't Netflix's, it's Channel 4’s (a British broadcasting Channel ) this is just an American adaptation, like they did with ’love island’

Yeah, I liked it, my favorite people were Seaburn, Chris, Miranda and Mercedes throughout the whole thing, (spoiler), when Joey won, I saw it coming though I was devasted but looked on the bright side cause Miranda hopefully got that date she deserves

This show is "lightly" scripted however STILL captivating. Note the Script Writer listed in the end credits. THE BIGGEST JOKE IS when ALL the catfishers claimed they were "BEING THEMSELVES" genuinely. HAHA!

the show aint scripted, the only thing the producers do is nudge the players along, like tellng them to say their messages faster or if they dont react big enough to an alert or a blocking or something, every single one of their actions are there own

Ok y’all the American version was good a little predictable towards the end tho.
But the Brazilian version was iconic the cast was full of people who came to play which is what I wanted with this cast.
If you don’t mind reading subtitles the Brazilian version was way more intense I highly recommend.

I love Terrace House house! I love the thought of people just getting out of their comfort zone and meeting new people. The relationships form slowly but in the end they usually become good friends and close.

I just finished the show. I liked it! But I do feel like the episodes could have been shorter. The interesting parts : people getting sent home, revealing the catfish, and seeing who the contestants went to visit... are padded with montages of people going to bed and waking up. It was way too much fluff since this show lacked what we watch reality tv for : the drama, the romance, the eliminations. Also, I think inviting new people really just didn't work. They all got sent home because they only had like 2 days to get to know everyone vs. People who were there from the begining.
