I understand you perfectly the lack of date and trying to unscrew the pushers to use the chronograph were the main reasons I never bonded with the Daytona
You said it, absolutely incredible timepiece. I'm floored by how beautifully the leather works with this time piece, Yet your perspective on its design not working with its application, a night out, jetskiing, go anywhere, do anything sports watch on leather may not make much sense for your lifestyle. I'm so happy to hear this perspective because it proves you've actually worn and enjoyed the watch the best you could like it deserves. you're going to get an absolute banger in its place. looking forward to seeing what you trade it for!
Thank you for your great comment! It's a really tricky one, because I do love the look of the watch, but I just can't see where it fits against some of my other pieces!
I own a Daytona and an Omega Seamaster 300 Diver Chrono. The Omega has the goods on any Daytona as far as functionality. The chrono buttons even work underwater ... But, a Daytona is owned for its asthetics, not for its functionality. The Daytona is a watch that is typically owned when the owner already has some other watch for functionality. The Daytona compliments clothes better than almost any other watch. They just plain look ccol. It is a piece of jewelry. If you need to know the date, you obviously work for a living and are not living the good life in the leisure class. That's what the Daytona says. It says, "Screw working for a living".
I have had a speedmaster and unfortunately that also has some flaws! I am not a fan of handwound 'sport watches', and I hate the plexiglass! Also lug to lug is quite big and doesn't have the 'weight' on leather to feel quite right

I truly appreciate your honesty and discernment. This was the first video I caught from your channel but I’ll definitely be checking out more!

It’s a detona do not sell it
Your lucky to have it
Very kind! Thank you
💯 agree on the screw down pushers. I use my Speedmaster chrono often.
I feel like no one talks about this issue with the pushers but it's really annoying!!

Excellent!
Many thanks!
I’ve always heard that the Royal Oak is much more delicate than the Daytona, and needs extra attention.
Interesting! I have tried on a couple of Royal Oaks (name down but probably no chance of getting one!)
It felt indestructible
That is what a speedmaster is for my friend

Nice Zenith but not a Fan of the Arabic numerals on the dials.
