I bought my first JB lp in 1973 and I went on to buy all the rest too. He Went To Paris remains one of my very favorite songs by Jimmy all these years later. Fins up and Bubbles up JB.
Flew over from Scotland just for this show, Wednesday to Friday! The show was incredible, like Live Aid for Parrotheads. Thanks so much for capturing it and sharing here. Fins & Bubbles Up from Scotland 🏴
I think it’s great that you came to celebrate. My daughter has paid her own way to travel to the UK, France and Australia enjoying the travel and concerts by a favorite artist of hers. I won’t reveal who that is, but they certainly have style, or at least move in that direction 😆
Been a fan since 1993. Not as long as most of you. Looked forward to his concert every year. Hoping the band goes on tour with some of the singers he's had on stage. Loved the entire evening. Fins up to all of you ❤ Bubbles up.
I've never understood why people bother going to concerts and then you happen to be unfortunate to be sitting by these folks and they freaking carry on a conversation for two damn hours. That is selfish and rude. Nobody goes to a concert to hear any one in the audience talk about anything.
Two ladies behind me last night talked the whole time. At first it was annoying then I was just plain impressed they could hold a 3.5 hour convo straight. Felt bad for them they missed a once in a lifetime event yet they were there!
Growing up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where Jimmy Buffett was born and raised, he has pretty much always been part of our lives down here, I thank him for getting our culture out and showing that being a beach bum is the best life ever. Thanks for the years.
I was born and raised in Mobile, AL. Jimmy was influenced by this town, too. And in return, he influenced this town. His music and beach bum persona has touched millions. Yes, I am a Parrothead. Jimmy lives on within our Schoolboy Hearts.
I never saw Jimmy Buffett live, but I always his music & especially loved the recent tribute to him starring several big names from popular music (Eagles, McCartney, J. Browne, S. Crowe, Chesney.
I was at the concert at Calavares too - my first (of many) JB concerts. Happy to say, I was at his last😊 stadium concert at Snapdragon in San Diego as well. ❤ JB - never met him but he definitely influenced my life.
Jimmy’s music is the soundtrack to my life. I was a parrot head before the term was coined. Thank you for all the memories and wonderful music Jimmy. 💔❤
I bet this friend fought on the Anti-Facist side of the Spanish Civil War. Obvious to say but it shows Jimmy was always on the correct side of history. Only an educated and good man can survive like this. Thank you for showing us the way. God bless you Jimmy Buffett.
The guy was Eddie Balchowsky and he was a member of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade which was a group of volunteers organized to fight Franco and the Fascists. The Fascists were supported by Hitler's Condor Legion, who were actual soldiers and airmen of the Wermacht and Luftwaffe, utilizing the latest German military weapon systems and aircraft.
Very astute observation. It pays to know your history. That way when people start repeating history, you'll know which way to run. Towards the fight or away from it.
I have loved Jimmy's music since he first began. The pictures and emotions his words evoke are precious. I love "Barefoot Children". .....upside down & backwards your name is the same..brilliant!✌
THE WHOLE, OR, THE HOLE, WHICH EVER SUITS YOU IN THE MOMENT,IS THE LAST LINE... SOME OF IT'S MAGIC, SOME OF IT'S TRAGIC, BUT, I'VE A GOOD LIFE...ALL THE WAY 😉
Yes, sadly, far too often folks are having such a great time socializing that they forget they paid a couple hundred buck$ to hear the artists perform.
Thank you so much for posting. I cannot believe how beautiful that concert was. My friend and I kept pinching ourselves to just be there. I have to say I love Snoop Dogg, Will Arnett’s story, Bon Jovi story, Harrison, Ford story, etc. It sounds like Jimmy was loved and had so many friends across so many genres. He laughed with everyone. I do have to say that the costumes were hysterical. I took a picture of the girl with the tiki hut on her head, and about 50 other items glued to it. I wonder if she wore that during the whole concert. It must’ve weighed about 6-7 lbs. pounds.🌺❤️🦜🦜🦜

Jimmy once said that He Went To Paris was one of his favorites too.
Here Come those Tears Again...
The song is melancholy enough... toss in the loss of Jimmy... damn...❤❤❤

In high school - we caravaned to the Jimmy Bugget shows - called ourselves Parrotheads - so much FUN!!!
Always the concert asses who talk through deeply beautiful, important performances. I’ll never understand it as long as I live.
Especially at upwards of $500 per seat. You could just as easily get drunk and yell at each other at the Buffalo Wild Wings for $50 😂
Me too, no cellphone. even no drugs for me. I want to be present!!!

"He lives in the Islands, fishing the pilings. Drinks his green label each day." Cheers mate! Love you JB.
Thanks so much for capturing so much of this show! I am so grateful to have been there for this Incredible tribute and gathering. Bubbles Up! Fins Up!
Thank you JB for 50 years of great music and great times
Sensational tribute Paul.. 👍❤Amazing!! Jimmy's having his Margareta!!
We all miss Jimmy, nice job remembering him Jackson!
Two legends, one still with us , the other was Everyman
First concert I ever saw was , Jimmy Buffett, Jackson Brown and Warren Zevon 1978 ,Calaveras County Fairground , California
Cool!😮
I was there... Mountain Air '78
@edgibson yes , I was a senior at Amador County Hs . Went with some friends and had the best time . Mountain Aire , great venue .

My favorite too. I cry a little every time I hear it.
My too❤
There is no one like Jackson Browne. Great tribute to his friend, Jimmy❤️
I was surprised that the period around me there didn't know who Jackson Browne was.
Jimmy’s music is the soundtrack to my life. I was a parrot head before the term was coined. Thank you for all the memories and wonderful music Jimmy. 💔❤
Jackson, so much love for our friend JB! All these years, all the love from our friend! See you again when our Lord Calls us home for a party!
one of the very finest Troubadours of all time, the greatest that Southern California ever produced
Thank you...
A legend playing to a legend. what a great version.

I have always loved this song ... Although Jackson's voice is not as smooth as it once was, still he sounds great. Keep singing Brother
Thanks for sharing

This is a wonderful song of his.
Jackson Brown looks so much like jd souther now. I knew they were around each other a lot.
Love this song and wish those that were talking the whole time had shone a little more respect.
Yes! It’s unbelievable that folks spend $HUNDREDS$ for a show, then check their respect at the gate.
Jackson singing. Not lip syncing. The people talking through this performance don't realize what they're missing.
I like to turn to those folks and ask if they’d like me to see if I can get the music turned down so they can talk.
A Man never truely dies until the last man says his name.
Or until a girl says your name in those precious 30 seconds
It'll be a while.
Jackson sounds great ❤
Thank you for your music. And the dream
Time and tide! We all know and love ❤❤❤
We were there last night! Thank you for sharing these videos of an awesome event!❤️
All the people who were close to Jimmy should all write a chapter to make a book of their memories with him.
Good job, JB. 💕
Is that Will Arnett doing the intro?
Yes, that’s Lego Batman.
I was there at Claveras Concert, Mountain Aire Festival at the home of the Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County
This is really beautiful! I love the way you brought Bobby G up to the front!
THE WHOLE, OR, THE HOLE, WHICH EVER SUITS YOU IN THE MOMENT,IS THE LAST LINE...
SOME OF IT'S MAGIC, SOME OF IT'S TRAGIC, BUT, I'VE A GOOD LIFE...ALL THE WAY 😉
Jimmy said it all for ALL of us in this song: "Some of it's magic, some of it's tragic, but I've had a good life all the way"
❤
"Some of its magic some of its tragic but I had good life all the way "--- Is there a better written line ?
here, here
🕯🎸🎵
I can't deal with it. Too soon.
It’s tuff but we will get through it!
Jimmy Buffett tribute and people are talking and not listening to the music. 😢
Yes, sadly, far too often folks are having such a great time socializing that they forget they paid a couple hundred buck$ to hear the artists perform.
Please don't let Jackson Browne interfere with your conversations.
Well said.
Beautiful tribute! Wish the mics had tuned out the disrespectful chatterers in the audience. If you don't want to listen, don't go.👿
Such a shame this same type of event hasn’t be done for EVH. Bickering petty fools.
Eddie Van Halen.
That would have been a great show also.
Why are so many AHoles yapping while Jackson is singing? What tools!
I hate that!
It was an amazing concert.
I was lucky to be there
I love this song, and this is a great version, but the people talking through the performance and screaming “wooooo!” are a big distraction.
You bet we’d all love it if they wound up putting this show on a streaming service!
You are hearing what a lifetime of smoking does to your voice- a truly cautionary tale:)
He is 76 and still sounds good.
Never be a passenger on a JB Boat or Plane unless you love our Lord, and have made your piece with the world! You may get shot down in Jamaca Mistaka!
😩🙂↔️
Who was the first guy speaking? Don’t recognize him
That’s Lego Batman, man 😊
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Arnett
Who is the guy talking? Is He supposed to be famous?
That’s Batman (Lego Movie)!
Will Arnett
Clear example why Dan Folgerberg what smarter
Wish the people would shut up.
Yup, 😂
Jackson's vocals on this one seemed to lack something.
