Hello faith , if you are receiving this message it means you are a true fan and I want to say a big thanks for your love and support towards me and my career all through the years of my life, sending love to you and yours.
At 60 years old and having been in the music business all my life, I can truly say losing Gregg was a pivotal moment in my life.....Rest in Music my brother
After Gregg's funeral, Jackson wanted to play, somewhere. He went to a place called Grant's Lounge, where the Brother's and everyone else played back in the'70's. He may have for all I know, was too young to go back then. Folks had a real shock that night. The talent that came there, for Gregg's memory was amazing. Thank Jackson. That was appreciated by everyone who just happened to be there that night. Adding, being Gregg's friend was not an easy thing for a long time. Have had some friends like that myself. Jackson is on helluva good man, will leave that there.
Thank you for your service. Gregg Allman got me thru everything till the day he died 😢 and he still does. Jackson Browne also got me thru a lot and still does. I try not to think about what could have been if Gregg was still here 😢 would be great 😢 but he's not. Good luck to you.✌️❤️🌼

YES, one of the best live shows ever, the talent there was truly amazing. And Jack Pearson playing that beautiful slide guitar back in the shadows w/ both Gregg and Jackson looking back at him. KSC Clinic...Yes, I agree about Jackson Browne being so young and still writing a song that you would expect a much older person with a lot of experiences to write. This is the mark of a truly gifted writer. I heard Gregg's version way back in the 70's and he sang it to perfection, but I also like Glen Campbell's version too and if you haven't heard Glen's version I highly encourage anyone who reads this to check it out: th-cam.com/video/bvQ77PoNJ6E/w-d-xo.html. He does several more renditions of These Days, but I particularly like this one because Glen is a lot older and this song fits the kind of life that Glen had.

This song brings back so many memories of mine! In the early seventies, I had my first real love! She swept me off my feet! We became engaged. We didn’t quite make it the alter, but that was my fault! I was much too immature and I didn’t get myself straight! I lost her and another one that I couldn’t hang on to! It was a good time and a bad time! I guess it had to happen!

Gregory was such a man... truly a Southern Gentleman. A wild eyed southern boy with blue eyed soul...a poet, with his heart on his sleeve. There will never be another you, my sweet Gregory... I'll always remember you that way... together in song❤❤
Gregg Allman feels this song deeply and he make me feel it to. Thank you Jackson Brown and Gregg you have always been about the music and nothing else. You will live forever in the hearts of those who hear your music.
Jackson looks like a proud parent trying to play it cool....watching Gregg performing his song in a way that he, Jackson, couldn't. Gregg, you sure did Jackson proud and he sure loved every minute of it! So did I.
Proud to say I have two tickets from the early 70s for the original Allman Brothers band I love that guy's vocals rest in peace Greg thank you for the music

Gregg Allman and Jackson Browne .. two of the ultimate greats ... ok.. I need to start this from the beginning and listen .. yet again... even though it will make me cry ....
I just saw Jackson Browne live at Bethel Woods Saturday night. Just to see him do this 1 song was worth the price of admission. Luckily we got to see a list of other great songs as well. 2 encores & there could have been more.
I lost my brother when I was 28 he was 26. I can relate to Gregg's pain. I can feel it like my own. It never goes away. All you ever knew of that person never goes away so in a way they're always with you. You just have to settle for memories and remembering the feelings when they were alive. Only band to ever come close to impressing me like that, was Radiohead. And ive seen a LOT of great concerts.
what a great vocal for this song, Allman killing it as usual
GROWING UP LISTENING TO HIS MUSIC! THEY WE'RE THE BEST OF TIMES. I WISH I COULD HAVE GROWN OLDER WITH HIS MUSIC FOREVER.
I can't believe there are 61 thumbs down! Gregg and Jackson are Legends!
Greg Sundy life’s to short to worry about the thumbs down.
@@johndeere8594 Agreed
Soul-less folk, nothing to see there...
The thumb is a terribly inaccurate instrument.
What an excellent version. Miss you Gregg so, so , so very much!
I love how Jackson looks at Gregg while he's singing.
I love that too -- I just love watching performers enjoying each other during their performances. It's so cool, so sweet.
Two "old souls" in a mutual admiration. God bless them.
This is heartbreaking and so beautiful...
Chills every time I watch it.
Blackbird, thank you for this great presentation. Every time I watch it, it brings a smile to my face, and then at the end ..... sadness.
I love listening to these two ❤
Gregory was such a man... truly a Southern Gentleman. A wild eyed southern boy with blue eyed soul...a poet, with his heart on his sleeve. There will never be another you, my sweet Gregory... I'll always remember you that way... together in song❤❤
I don't think I can listen to ANY music/songs for quite awhile; the two of them together just, well, it's indescribable....:)
Gregg Allman feels this song deeply and he make me feel it to. Thank you Jackson Brown and Gregg you have always been about the music and nothing else. You will live forever in the hearts of those who hear your music.
This song, especially in this beautiful, soulful version by these two great musicians (and a great band) brings tears to my eyes!
RIP Gregg Allman. sweet man ❤
Gregg could sing the phone book I'd fall down 🎶‼️never ever will be another Gregg Allman ❤️
Wow, memories of youth. Have always loved them both. I visited Greggs grave recently. Had a good cry. RIP ❤
We will miss you Greg. What a treat it is to be able to find vids like this. Thanks for the upload!
Got to spend an hour and change hanging out and just shooting the breeze with Gregg after an Allman Brothers Show in OKC. 72 degrees, no wind and Gregg Allman. As good as it gets. 🙏🏻 R.I.P.
What a terrific story and performance. JB humbly gave credit where due! We miss Greg's life's experiences shining through these days.
Thank you to two great giants of raw music. RIP Gregg, long live Jackson
Love both of these talented artists
Makes me incredibly sad to know Gregg Allman is no longer here with us. His music will never be duplicated. Such a special time
And sweet sweet memories when he was sharing it. 💔 forever awesome
Well I had a lover, I don't think I'll risk another these days these days I seem to be afraid to live the life that I've made .. It's just that I have been losing ... so long... Little did I know when I first listened to this song how true these words would one day ring. Yet.. I do still to this day love this song endlessly ...
Did he do "After The Deluge" there??
About THE most appropriate song for THAT venue!! 😉
Favorites! Could even be requested to be played at my funeral
I lost my brother when I was 28 he was 26. I can relate to Gregg's pain. I can feel it like my own. It never goes away. All you ever knew of that person never goes away so in a way they're always with you. You just have to settle for memories and remembering the feelings when they were alive. You just have to keep going you can't go back.
RIP Greg. So many great shows I've been too. He liked Memphis.
Two of the greatest of all time. Drenched in soul. Touches us so deeply. We'll always love and miss Gregg. We'll always love Jackson.
