Couldn’t make at out to the west coast, but I’ve loved Jimmy’s music since the 70s. His music touched my soul so much that I moved to his old stompin’ grounds on the gulf coast just as soon as I was able to retire from all that “work” nonsense. Thank you from Orange Beach, AL for making me feel like I was there!😎🌴
This was one of the coolest shows I have been to and I’ve been to thousands seeing most of these people live before. They were all heartfelt and amazing.
I never knew until Jimmy passed that Sir Paul was so close to jimmy. That goes to show you what affect jimmy had on people. Jimmy was a staple in my household growing up in Fl. Jimmy you are missed and definitely loved. The party will definitely be going on. Bubbles up.
This concert really drives home just how loved and respected Bubba was in the musical community. An amazing collection of artists from a variety of genres honoring the musical life of the Mayor of Margaritaville.
If you've got Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh and Bon Jovi showing up at your tribute concert to honor you, I would consider that better than winning a "Grammy".
Wish Fingers could have green there, but it was a glorious show. My wife will tell you I cried many tines, while still loving it. Miss you Jimmy, wish you had many more years.
Sadly, Fingers Taylor has retired from playing due to neurological issues. He was an amazing player and I love the Buffett albums featuring him the best.
Only one Jimmy Buffet in this planet….,He may not be with us anymore but he, his enthusiasm for life and his memories live on and always will. My grown grandchildren listen to his music!!
And of course that Scotish Lad (Mac) will keep sharing all the love of the music he and JB made over the four decades they were together! And yes here is Caroline Jones, that JB loved to back! So many others that were highlighted, so many others that sang, so many others that performed and payed the tribute to JB!
What an amazing show! So many people loved Jimmy and his music 🎶. The planet was a better place with him on it. I am SO hoping the team of McAnally and Utley produce a DVD of this wonderful tribute for the thousands of us that loved Jimmy but couldn't attend.
Mac, you are singing the soul of our Parrothead people at JB going to the other side! You and Eric and JB were the last to play and sing the love of life!
Jimmy Buffett, thank you for inspiring this wonderful, joyful, colorful, musical happy place for my sweetheart and me to enjoy our retirement years: Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach !
Not gonna lie, this brought a tear to my aging eyes. My friends and I were Parrotheads when Jimmy was still chasing dreams down at the Chart Room. " But the Wino and I know the pain of back bustin' like a farmer knows the pain of his pickup truck rustin'. A strange situation, wild occupation, Living my life like a song ".
Ive never met a single person in my lifetime of 68 yrs that didnt love them some Jimmy Buffet...Had the pleasure of seeing his dance 3 times (Candlestick Park, Greek Theater, The Fillmore)....One of a kind and sorely missed....He was the wife's and I first date ....Great job folks, may the memories live on....
I've got more of his concerts under my belt than I can remember but the best JB moment was when he handed me a joint...lit....in the parking lot of Dirty Ernie's. The fans in South Florida know where I'm talking about.
Always loved the steel pan/drums. Gave the real tropical sound and he's the best! Love all the CR band and Mac, you are just the best keeping the music going💖
I have been watching the whole show. I'm on the other coast in FL. bout 20 mins from PB Island. That was the greatest national anthem i have ever heard Jimmy not singing. Everyone from Pitbull to Jack Johnson to Paul McCartney....pure gold
Awesome Caroline Jones came on to share her love for Jimmy! and all of us that have loved the Coral Reefer Band all these years, we are here with you all!
Since he lived near me in Fl and we shared same birthday, Xmas, he would always stop whatever he was doing to say seeing me made his day even better. So generous! RIP
Well JB as Bubba wants us to carry on! At 72 years old, I am taking my wife to Key West on Halloween 2024! And we will do the Duval Walk these days as if our JB was with us! See you all for breakwest at Blue Heaven and hear some Buffett!
You are right; alcoholism is not a joke. But drinking and having fun doesn’t make one an alcoholic. The song speaks to those of us who have had one too many and know of the pain that awaits us -something we often regret but live to tell about it. I haven’t had a drink in 40 years, but every time I hear this song I sing it with gusto and celebrate the joys I had in a past life. It wasn’t all bad and Jimmy embraced what was fun about those days.
I must say that I’m not a huge fan of Don Henley for many reasons, however Im happy the Eagles were there to help celebrate their friend Jimmy’s life and to help “Keep the Party Going” by being Sir Paul McCartney’s backup band while he performed a Beatles song.

Thanks for sharing this🙏 … not all of us Parrotheads could make the journey to this epic tribute for our Jimmy Buffett 🦈🆙🫧🆙

Not since Concert for George have I seen such peer love. I love George so much and I've got to say this is above that as it isn't scripted so much.
I'm 70 and this made me cry
me too!
@@rmmontgomery4512I’m 72 and I couldn’t hold my tears back.
It’s okay…. he went home…😊
I'm so glad Mac has inherited Jimmy's legacy. It was ordained by the old coast runner himself and, possibly, above...Well done, gatekeeper.
He heard that... and he's grinning ear to ear.
Excellent job everyone! Fair winds and calm seas Jimmy Buffett...Thanks for getting the party started!
What I love about this is it’s a bunch of musicians being musicians in honor of a guy who just wanted to create music and make people happy.
And THAT Jimmy did~ made ppl happy!
He sure did that! Jimmy took us on his journey❤.
It’s sad that there was no real quality to the performance… hope Jimmy wasn’t offended by it
Start the new year off right with Jimmy Buffett
This concert really drives home just how loved and respected Bubba was in the musical community. An amazing collection of artists from a variety of genres honoring the musical life of the Mayor of Margaritaville.
I love this and I am not a big jimmy buffet fan.
Rest in musical heavenly peace in paradise 🙏.

If this doesn't bring a tear to your eyes, you're not human
Glad you said it. I was feeling a little awkward.
Right there with you. I'm gonna have to break out my white sport coat and find a pink crustacean.
One 63 year old human, checking in.
One year today. Still hurts horribly.
Fair winds and following seas, Our Captain. Rest in Sunny, Salty Peace.🦜🌴🦈
wished I could have been there... #KeepThePartyGoing #ThankYouJimmy
Simply incredible! Over whelming & Breath Taking, The Stars were out tonight
The tears fall from the Sky to meet JB in our time when the Lord Called him Home! JB is not alone! Well, Mac is just leading the tour on this one!

Jimmy is smiling down.
Love how Bon Jovi maneuvered his way over next to Sheryl.
The mayor is alive and well in all of us
Everyone knew the words
John McEnroe was there on stage? You cannot be serious!
Yes he was Tom K, he did the introduction for Pitbull / Bon Jovi!
th-cam.com/video/DFWuJIi--Ns/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Awww… you didn’t get the McEnroe-ism. 😉
@@tomk4484 haha Yeah, not everyone will get that, but I did! Well played.
Yes I did miss that the first go ‘round. After all, it was 43 years ago that “Chalk came up all over the place.” 😂 Thanks Tom and Chris.

I never heard Paul mention JB until now.
Well read by some.
Was that Harrison Ford??
Gary Oldman too.
and Woody Harrelson
And OJ on steel drums?
Harrison Ford is credited with whip cracks on the Buffett Song, Desperation Samba.
Can't take much more than this. JB wouldn't have wanted this.
It's interesting that people sing about and make a joke about alcoholism.
You are right; alcoholism is not a joke. But drinking and having fun doesn’t make one an alcoholic. The thing is most people who love JB and drink are not alcoholics, but I am. I still love JB, just don’t drink.

You can guarantee whenever the fall shows up for Paul you know it's nothing but a joke
Harrison Ford Looks " out of place " I havent Seem him laugh, smile, giggle, in like 30 years " lol lol lol He looks more like a Security guard... lol
100 downvotes. 77 marginally slackers on stage and Sir Paul doesn’t get even 1 vocal phrase? Please delete this travesty.
All these artists come to pay tribute to Jimmy singing his songs. Then there's Don Henley who uses the chance to sing a song of his. POS.
I must say that I’m not a huge fan of Don Henley for many reasons, however Im happy the Eagles were there to help celebrate their friend Jimmy’s life and to help “Keep the Party Going” by being Sir Paul McCartney’s backup band while he performed a Beatles song.
Why does Don Henley sound so horrible, He’s barely got a voice, but he sings great when they have concerts?
It was too bad none of them actually knew the song. Even with the teleprompter available nobody really locked on to the rhythm of the lyrics.
Everyone knew the words
But they are all old men now. I’m old too. 74 but I grew up with them. 🦘
