I've recently started taking care of my shoes, a lot of these steps help but one thing they forgot to mention was to add a cloth, shoe framer what ever it may be to keep the shoe in its original shape. I did that and after two months of having my old sneakers my teacher couldn't even tell if they were new or not.
Why is your teacher checking out your shoes in the first place?

What does add a cloth mean?
@@carlysheree3130 I think it means stuffing some cloth inside the shoe to help hold its shape, because with enough time gravity and other factors will make the shoe shrink on itself, resulting in cracks and wrinkles.

Pro tip. To remove the dark spots and smudges that the usual cleaner wont from the sneakers use tooth brush posibly one without grains. Works everytime

I bought two pairs of white sneakers yesterday and the cashier asked me if I wanted the water repellent for the shoes. I bought it. I see now it was a valid choice. I've always wondered how to keep sneakers clean, but always limited to washing them. Apparently spraying them with this repellent will keep them clean for longer. 😊
you might have to throw canvas shoes in the dryer for a little while to avoid water stains. good info!
1. take off the laces
2. put them in washing machine with other clothes
3. use dryer for delicates
4. repeat the same every month

You can now keep shoes in transparent boxes so you don't need to take a picture

The light will discolor sneakers and the plastic will trap the moisture and cultivate bad odors.
The boxes have holes cut in them and close your blinds.
But then what do with my polaroid camera??

I am a lady who loves heels. Today I purchased the new Rhianna Puma Fenty in white. I am wearing them this weekend and I am wondering if you can suggest a pretreatment or something. I am going to a party and I want to prevent anything prior to if possible.
One thing I've noticed is they stay white a LOT LONGER if you clean them for 30 seconds after each time you wear them.
If you wear them 10-20 times in a row, they will accumulate dirt/stains that can be hard to get rid of. But, if you take the 30 seconds after each use, that tends NOT to happen.

I hear "Wet Seal" is a good product to cover shoes and other things. Hardly anything sticks to the fabric.

Save your time & money: Put them in the washing machine (40 degree Celsius) - short program. Let them air dry.
Not for leather one's though.
@@NanduriBharrath_nb Leather shoes can be washed in the washing machine. The shoes will come out cleaner and newer looking. Untie the shoelaces and loosen them in order to open up the shoe. This will allow the shoes to get a thorough cleaning.

From my Young Marine experience do not spray scotch where you can sweat and the sweat will stay it’s bad
Like on a sweat band of a hat that you need to stand up

Some sneakers look good dirty and distressed. there is no point in worrying about white shoes that get marks. It gives them character and shows you have worn & loved them. I have sneakers that are wrecked but it doesn't matter, nothing lasts forever. I have a pair of givenchy white tyson's that turned yellow before I even got the chance to wear them. I think it's down to the chemicals
