In today's episode of Shoe Care Academy cleaning tutorials, Jonny Bubbles shows you the best way to clean your all white canvas, knit and leather sneakers with the Reshoevn8r Laundry System. To give the demonstration on these materials we used a pair of Vans, Nike Air Force 1s, and a pair of the 2021 Adidas Ultraboosts. TIP: Wear Black, Earth tones if you know it might get dirty. If you are going to a clean place on a car, wear a white. If you are not a big sneaker guy, stick to leather finished white sneakers rather than fabric ones. And yes, Dedicate 20 minutes every week just to do a fast brush down and quick wash of your sneakers. Clean the white sole with a wet cloth atleast every alternate day. My cheap adidas lasts 2-3 years and looks brand new.

Guys its very evident the dirt on the shoes has been on there for a couple hours if not a few days. It’s not a miracle system, I believe this in a case you had a bad day in your new shoes and you can quickly go home and recover them before it gets to a point of no recovery. Not beater AF1s you had for 8 years trying to make deadstock again 😂😂😂.

The dirt and grime would stain the entire shoe if you put it in the laundry wash, you have to brush first

Those shoes look pretty brand new and seem like it got dirty within a day, what about shoes that got dirty over time from daily use? Will it have the same results?

Definitely not. In real life, the dirt gets soaked into the materials of the shoe on a much deeper level as it sits there for a long time and is exposed to the elements when you walk in them outside. Rain will make the dirt deep further, deeper into the material and the UV rays from the sun will set that dirt i.e. binding it to the canvas/leather etc.
Definitely not. Had a pair of Air Force 1’s and cleaning them was a bitch. There’s no way to get an old pair of dirty shoes to looking crisp the way they did out the box.
The purpose of the video isn’t to keep your old white sneakers clean … the intent of the video is for someone who doesn’t wear Air Force ones everyday … and once they’re done using it for the day they are wearing them they clean them after the day is done … and not let them stay dirty for a while then decide to clean them and then be mad when your expectations aren’t met … you can’t expect to clean a pair of sneakers I’ve kept dirty for a while
They’ll never look fresh out of the box, but you can still clean up your shoes fairly decently if you don’t let them get too dirty

When you wash your shoes, what do you do after when you washed them do you let them out to dry or do you keep them in a spot were it drys them?
I find this hard to believe. All the insides of the shoes with the labels printed looks brand new. Fresh out the box. The Ultra Boost toes part whatever, is too straight like it’s never been worn. How the shoes are laced up is definitely to me a indicator that they are new shoes. If that’s the case just buy new all white shoes if they get super dirty. Vans are hard as hell to clean with set in stains. They will not come out brand new white.
Even using iron to get out ceases in af1s, you will definitely still see the bend in the shoe.
I’m guessing these are new shoes they dirtied up for the video, I thought it was strange that the af1’s had all the stars on the bottom.
@@DR.P3RKY yeah but if you pause the video with the shoes lined up the labels on the inside look brand new versus the dirty ones. I mean do what you have to do to sale a product and they possibly do a great job at it. But no white shoes will ever look white white once they are dirty unless you clean it right then and there, well even that’s hard to really say
These videos are usually fake. When a shoe had been left dirty for a week or more the dirts really stick to the material and create "patches" of ugly color especially to knits and canvases. They are SO HARD to clean considering you have to be careful not to ruin the material and the glue. Even more so if it's white. In these types of videos they usually only take a wash or two, indicating that the shoes are only dirtied very recently (they probably dirty the shoes on purpose). Then there's the soles. Yes, it's possible to get them extremely clean, but for me, it'd take me HOURS of brushing with a lot of strength. Again, in these videos they usually only use the hard brush and then voila! So fake -_- mind you, reshoven8r is a shoe cleaning company. They're just trying to sell you their products.
Same as those videos of asian guys restoring electronics found on the mud on some contaminated river. No corrosion and component damage, very fishy.

Save yourself the money, these shoes didn't even have creases in them. They were straight out of the box and that dirt was like 10 minutes old. Also, for the prices they're charging, you could probably just buy a new pair.

Can you let us know the settings for the washing machine that you used for the vans shoes? I’m guessing not too high of a temperature. Please let me know how much time too. Would the 15 min program at 30 degrees celcius (i’m in europe) be enough?
cold water with medium spin, u never want to put any warm or hot water on shoes
Be nice if y’all explained what settings each shoe goes on for the wash
We always recommend cold water and normal cycle!

@@gavinpine9570 actually they are very different from other shoes they have no laces and a ratchet system for them to tighten down I'm afraid to wash them because the lacing system is made from parachute cord

Yes, our Stiff Brush will work great on the rubber outsole!
Damn a lot of people being sus about the air force one's not being creased when worn... Bruh I use a lot of products to keep my leather shoes from creasing there's nothing sus about un creased sneakers... They're not "new" we just now how to keep our shoes fresh af

Tip…If you have tough to take off scuffs on your midsole with toothbrush alone,use very low grit wet sandpaper.Rub gently against the rubber or foam midsole so you don’t damage the midsole.I had some really scuffed up air max 95 USAs.This technique made them look like brand new.Ask me how I cleaned the mesh midsole.I have great tips for that area too.

@@Pascallozz Wash them in a washing machine.I always pretreat the areas where the tough stain are with any degreaser(I use Grease Lightning).Whatever you do,DO NOT,dry your sneakers in the dryer,they will crack,a possibly shrink a little.Always air dry them,and put like a sock inside the toe box,so they can retain their shape.Good Luck👍👍✌
