I pulled a 64gb one out of my old 2017 switch. I never switch cards. But now got a 256gb one so I forgot you have to eject by pushing up and I pulled the old one out. Is this bad? I put the new one in and it seems ok. I didn't realise!!!
My 64 GB white Zelda card ejects and inserts with the spring action. My 1TB black Zelda card however is a bit sticky and clunkier (even scratchier), as it doesn't eject or load with the spring action. Is this normal of all 1TB black Zelda cards?
I have the 128gb red Mario mushroom micro sd and the spring doesn’t push it out at all when ejecting. The dimensions of the micro sd would be a universal standard so I think it’s the internal spring on the switch malfunctioning
I have a question, if I take the MicroSD card out of the Nintendo switch so that it doesn't melt, will it still have all of the data stored in it when I insert it again into the switch? Or does the data get deleted when it gets pulled out of the switch? (Sorry for the long question, this is my first time using a MicroSD card)
I needed a tutorial to fully understand this tutorial. I turn off my switch and then take out my card. And my switch then turns on just to tell me to turn it off before removing the card and I’m just sitting there like B*tch what? I now know to go into power options and press “Turn off”
Switches aren't supposed to come with these. People buy these chips separately to increase their Switch's memory capacity. For example, if you downloaded a large game file (like breath of the wild for example) it'll take up like 60% of your switch's memory, but if you move that file to this star SD card placed inside it will up take less than 10% of space. The one in the video is the biggest official Nintendo one you can get that costs over 40 dollars Canadian. But there's others ones that have less memory and cost less. The smallest you can get is the Zelda one for 16$ Canadian

Idk
No save data is stored to system memory just the apps which were stored on the Ed card will be unusable until you put it back in
I’m only watching because I’m about to get one

my switch doesnt have the yellow card...
You need to buy one then insert it! The switch does not come with a microsd card!
Was i meant to come with one?
No, you buy them separately to increase the switch's memory space
@@StarStoneWolf thanks
Half of the video was a tutorial of how to put the kick stand up lol
If you remove it, you will get a error and turn it off
❤
