Best 2 hours ever. Nolan is amazing and hands down my favourite director ever. When things get back to normal have a look at screenings of his films with a live orchestra. Went and saw interstellar at the royal Albert hall. MAGIC.
The Prestige is perhaps one of the greatest Nolan if not movies in general of all time period. Most people don’t even realize you have to watch it minimum twice just to see everything in the movie once...and that ending.... makes the rest of the parts we took for granted make so much more sense... the affair.... everything.
You guys are the best tv/ movie podcast in the world!❤ nolan is my favourite director as well so this 1 hr 52 mins was amazing. Much love from pakistan❤
This was a great episode. With Nolan, I was always a little indifferent with him. I think he is a genius and one of the greatest film makers. He is a master of great art and originality, while being able to be a major box office draw. That's a rare trait in a director. His writing is just on a different level. I think his writing is his strongest trait as a filmmaker. My issue with Nolan typically lies in character development. I think his best job is working with Leo to Make a loveable character that we really root for and have emotions for. I think that's why the two movies I connected with the most were inception and Momento. Nolan's films will be studied for years and years to come. Top 5 Nolan 1. Inception 2. Momento 3. The dark knight 4. The prestige 5. Dunkirk/ insomnia Thank yall again for these for vids
The scene where Alfred talks about the thief in Burma, he tells a story about how he only steals for sport and that some men just want to watch the world burn. When Bruce asks him how he caught the thief he responds by saying he burnt the Forrest down. The entire story shows how the only way to catch the villain is to give him what he wants and burn the world to catch him.
Very true bud. Batman has to strip himself of his moral code to be able to defeat the Joker and stop Harvey Dent. He goes from Hero to Villain/Vigilante again by the end of the movie.
Another cool little detail during the scene with the 18 wheeler, when joker opens the door and is holding a shotgun it’s the same one that he took off the guy he killed in the beginning at the bank. He takes it with him on the school bus when he pulls out of the bank
I really enjoy you two and the podcast. Found you guys on TikTok. My one wish Is you guys would have a segment at the end or really interject things you really didn't like about certain aspects of the films you talk about. P.S. it's the squeeky puberty voices for me ;)
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ yeah that'll be a great addition I think. Would love to hear just your critical opinions on movies you still love. I can see you guys starting to do it a little so a dedicated segment will be good. I'm curious though, do you two have any background in film?
Maaaan i love your videos i used to only just listen to it. This is the first time watching it and i just realized are y’all twins or is this a guy talking to himself? Also thanks for the clarification on Heath Ledger I never knew that

Wonderful summary of the major threads of his career. The more I think about it, the more I think this man was born to direct a Bond.
Hopefully one day!
And one thing I’ll say about tenet is you’ll want to go watch it again at least twice
Best icebreaker I have now is telling them to watch Raiders Of The Lost Podcast! Another great director spotlight!
😍😍😍 Thank you Henry!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Nolan is just crazy with his films because no matter how crazy the story is he always is able to pull it off

Easily his most underrated film! Absolutely brilliant
NOLAN the goat, also I love these longer podcasts !!!
Appreciate you tuning in Michael!
Awesome episode again guys. You both should do a mafia film spotlight episode, covering all the best mob movies!
We want to soon! We'll probably either do a mob episode, or Godfather will its own. Plus then goodfellas might get its own
Raiders, we agree on this. Nolan IS one one of the greatest.

Oh snap! Never noticed that!
So happy I found this podcast!
So are we 😄
If you guys ever get the chance you guys should do an actor spotlight on brad Pitt, jake gyllenhaal, or Jonny depp. Either way great stuff guys
For sure! All great choices
Found you through tik tok and enjoyed this
Thanks!
On apple music or spotify if you look closely to the batman begins soundtrack you will notice, starting at Barbastella, it spells BATMAN.
Yup! Plus all those song names are different species of bats
This was super entertaining 🙌
Thanks for tuning in bud!
Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite Directors of all time even though now he’s come under a lot of scrutiny
He's one of the best ever, and trying to preserve the future of film and theaters. He's worried that movie theaters will die out
This is just amazing. I love Christopher Nolan. You guys should do Pink Floyds the Wall, It not the best movie buts totally campy and a cult classic.
Thanks Dawson! We'll try and look into doing it!
Probably a time Traveller!
Must be!
