As a lucid dreamer I was excited to see LD represented when it came out, even if they didn’t use that term this is what Nolan is utilizing as the plot device. People who have mastered lucid dreaming can access the levels, that are not unlike a VR video game. I had someone let me try their VR headset and it was not impressive in comparison. We can’t enter another person’s dream however sometimes we do meet up in each other’s dream and remember the conversation the next day. The understanding of consciousness is so limited. This becomes apparent once someone begins exploring the vistas that open up,with this skill.

What I absolutely love about this podcast and TH-cam channel is how you jump right into it and cut out the fat. You actually talk about what is advertised on the thumbnail. Ads are minimal and the intermission is amazing. Keep it up guys.
I love to keep seeing you guys improve your podcasting, you’ve come a long way and everyone who is “the movie guru” of their friends loves seeing this content! ROTLP for the win!
This was one of the first films I saw that got me 'into' films. Since then I don't feel it is as good as I originally thought, but it holds such a special place in my heart. It's a great great film
I did not comprehend the scale of practical effects, before this. I knew about the hallway, but the train, and the avalanche - I had no clue! I’d say Inception competes with Fury Road in that regard!
Hey love your stuff guys, been listening since the beginning. This is a great episode one of my favorites movies/ sci-fi movies and maybe my favorite Chris Nolan film.
Could you guys do an episode on movies which had huge production/marketing budgets and lost money at the box office? It’d be interesting to hear more about the business and advertising aspect of the film industry
Lowkey here for stickers but obviously staying for the content! Usually I'm just lurking anyway but love free shit, especially when it's a sticker to show my love for the best podcast out! ❤
First time I watched this I didn’t like it much at all but I watched it again and again and again probably seen this 30 times and now I absolutely love it one of my favourite films
One thing I don't get is when people say this movie is too confusing. I'm like just pay attention and you'll understand everything going on. This movie is EPIC, took some inspiration of course but he made this his own. This is my favorite Nolan movie. Mostly because I think he developed his lead character very well which you don't see him do a ton In his movies. You felt emotion and compassion when learning about Dom and what happened with his wife and family. The part that makes me gasp is when he's trying to convince fisher that he's there to protect him in the hotel bar and he sees his kids in the lobby. Ugh gives me chills everytime. When I first saw it I was like omg this is about to be bad!!! Great breakdown guys. This movie is a 10/10 I'm already calling it a classic. One of the dopest sci fi movies all time
@@raidersofthelostpodcast_ it was a great episode though, it was just a dumb joke I thought of, didn't realise some of the stuff in inception was so practical, I know Nolan likes to do it that way with other movies, but the stuff you guys were saying about the train and the mountain of snow that is absolutely wild, and probably one of the reasons he's so well known. I'm new around here and I've been checking out your older uploads before your newer stuff first to get caught up on your stuff, only heard about you recently, but I've been telling my friends and people about you because I really enjoy your podcasts. Anyways sorry for the rant but you guys are great.

Can confirm, I used to be able to lucid dream and have dream within a dream, couple of times, you can kind of build anything u want inside the dream
