I started out with a Pasha Big Date because (1) I like it and (2) Gerald Genta. I also have a Tank small. I have a 7.25" wrist. While I generally wear my watches above my wrist bone, I wear Tank low on my wrist right on the start of my hand like a bracelet (the crown is unobtrusive because of the overall size). I'm an amateur boxer (also Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), and if it's good enough for Muhammad Ali, it's good enough for me 😂 I tend to like smaller watches (my Oysterdate is 34mm) but wear up to 40mm. I think the thing about the Tank is that it's generally a formal dress watch (unbeatable in a suit and tie). It can be dressed down with a brown or burgundy strap, but might look awkward sometimes. I think you should give it another try. Pair it up with a nice suit and I think you might really like it.
Have you tried the older Tank Solo Small? It sits somewhere in between the Must Small and Large, could be the perfect fit unless you just dont like the Design
Oris has a rectangular watch that’s similar to the Cartier tank. It’s automatic and has a date function. They’ve got them in several colors and personally I like the red color dial. The size is just right as well.
Agree with you about the size 👍👍 I got myself medium tank 30 mm 18k gold vintage from 1980’s period Quartz two hands and it was in wonderful condition and size was perfect on my 6.75 inch wrist 👌👌👌
Do you suppose that the impression the tank small gave you had to do with the leather strap? I’m thinking if you tried the small with the metal bracelet the metal real-estate and the weight may have change your perception, despite the dial being the same size.
If I go with a Tank over a Santos Dumont it'll be this model for sure 👌🏽 appreciate your video on the differences 🙏🏽 I meant to write this on your short but it ended up here lol. I meant the Tank Louis btw
I guess you would want the men’s size of the 1970s Tank Must. - The current Tank Must large has the same size and shape as the Tank Louis, unlike the Tank Solo. I think that’s a pretty good deal now.
Your wrist is simply too small to handle XL while others have no problem with its size. And yes, do your homework it’s an Cartier in house automatic movement watch(the same movement as in Santo), no ticking, no battery and virtually lasts forever compared to the quartz model. Also it has the hand engraved Guilloché on the dial which no other watch at this price have. It’s probably the best value Cartier watches ever.
A small works great on my 7.2 inch wirsts! All about your personal preference.
It’s good to know!! I need to give it another chance
I’m thinking about getting the small Louis, I got have big wrist but idk lol
I got same wrist and heard the strap it goes with doesn’t fit. Is it true?
@@egorpolyanskii-ul8ui It was long enough for me, but I'm not sure if it was too long or not. It is not too short definitely

Good video, I'm shopping for a tank, and more opinions always help.
💯% Small (normal) !!👍... Никакви "Large" и "XL"!!...
Xl has an auto movement my dude.
Automatic XL is more expensive than Quartz XL, but yes I should have mentioned it. If auto than second hand will not tick, so not a problem
They don’t make an XL tank with a quartz movement@@QuartzCrisis

Very interesting views!
I prefer the large to the small on my fairly small wrist. Both look good. The XL is an abomination.
What watch are you wearing while talking?
Hamilton Van Horn on Bonklip bracelet. See my recent review of this watch
