- So i bought an A45 AMG!! Here is the first drive of my new Mercedes A45 AMG. This car is so mental and in this video you will see my first impressions of the A45, hear the sound of the performance exhaust, see shots of the interior and exterior. This is my mini review on my A45 AMG. I hope you enjoy it!

the roof is closing and opening when you going fast and then when you slow down :O
Yeah I only realised it opens and closes depending on speed when I watched it back lol!
It changes into the lower position over 50mph

Mate your vids are the best I've seen, I love how you did the interior and the exterior one, so detailed down to the buttons and what they do etc which I hadn't seen in othee vids, all they do is tell you what you can already see in the interior, you actually individually said what each bit does, keep it up! Hey mate, just bought one of these, 2016 model , it's exactly the same, red, sports performance package, and it is so fucking good, only done 59000 kms, and in mint condition, it is an absolute beast, it's so comfortable and so bloody quick, I love it, it is mind blowing mate 👍🤘

would you recommend it as a first car? I love this car and because of brand loyalty but I thought having a benz as a first car might be a little too much flex.
Don’t mind me if you can afford it why not but your insurance will be through the roof

@@dontmindme4466 I do recommend it as a first car, because it has permanente 4x4 and great traction control, really safe handling, unlike rear-traction cars.
Stef, just a suggestion, when it comes time for winter, wrap those stock wheels with some Blizzak WS80's and get some better looking wheels for the next 3 seasons!
Maybe a set on matte bronze wheels that are much better looking and MUCH easier to clean!

Engine sounds fantastic. If there was a manual version , I would take it . I know its new tech and all that but I dont think I could ever drive flappy paddle/pdk.

Congratulations on the new car. How do you store your car so that it's shiny all the time? Your parking area looks dusty. I can't keep dust away from my car when I Park through out the night.

Great video. Everything you said I agree with. I have just decided to leave my modified 130i and have purchased an a45 and I cant wait to pick it up. Everyone complains with how sprung the a45 is but coming from my old car (on stiff coilovers) it feels so cushioned. I will miss the manual gearbox and the engines ability to rev, but I'm ready for blunt speed and comfort. Subscribed!

at 8 minutes you make the exact statement which is my problem with my A45, the lack of sense of speed makes it feel dull :( (After my Megane rs250).

How is your A45 AMG like on fuel .. does it drink alot and whats your average MPG on the motorway. I'm thinking about buying one I do 45m a day to work 39m motorway and the 6m is A roads.

Yep automatic at certain speeds to reduce wind noise

Shaz Ali S3 is out of question. It is a ‘boring’ car when you are also taking an A45 and RS3 in consideration. I heard from reviews that the first generation A45 wasn’t really developed very good as the Mercedes staff didn’t know if it would sell well. But as the A45 sold good, the new generation 2020 A45 is the one what it needed to be. RS3 is just one word: Sound. Driving wise it isn’t as good as the A45.
What a downgrade, RS3 understeer is no joke

430 is not 3.5 secs either , the new one has 421hp and way better traction and launchcontrol and does a 3.9.

Is race mode a option on the A45 or does it come with every A45?
Race mode is part of a drivers package that includes the diff and adaptive suspension 👍🏻

Some say it does. I’m pretty happy with the car without race. You still get launch control without race

ben fl I’ve bought mine in 2016 and love it still. But if you drive a pre facelift, it one of the worse cars I’ve ever driven. The facelift is a totally different car
