To answer the question about the Airwalk at 20:49 you know you have the glitch activated when you see Lara holding the grapple hook. On the failed attempts, she isn't holding it, but on the successful attempt, she has it in her hand. Also, to activate the glitch, you must grapple a ledge on the SAME FRAME you land from a jump.
@DeltroxTv I don't know EXACTLY what the game thinks is happening, but it does seem like it thinks you are definitely walking on the floor. If you listen during the Airwalk, it sounds like Lara is walking on whatever she activated the glitch on, so in most cases for this run, it would be grass, so listen for the grass sounds while she's running through the air. Another example, which I don't think is shown in this run, but in Rise of the Tomb Raider, we use the same glitch. At one point, we activate the glitch standing on wooden planks, and when she is running though the air, you can hear the creaking of the wooden planks.

He is actually currently voicing Cliff Steele/Robotman and portrays him pre-accident as a guest star in Titans, and reprises the roles as a series regular in Doom Patrol.
please keep this series going on
“You’re not gonna make it”
“He gone”
The flood level through the town with all the destruction was so beautifully designed. They created an amazing level there. very immersive.
22:50 "That took us so long to tweek..."
You can actually feel the pain in his voice....
Watching a speedrun is always so calming to me. Just someone breaking the boundaries and breaking the game. :3
"Whatever happened to Brendan Fraser?"
His ex-wife happened to him. And the US legal system.
born in hollywood, living in hollywood, taking a walk outside of hollywood to meet the love of your life leads you straight into the USA legal system!

I love this series! Keep it up IGN!
I really don’t like how you show the best reaction points at the start. It ruins the surprises. I always skip it.
Me too, I always skip it :D
Indeed, this seems like particularly American thing to do I think. It also happens in (film)trailers and even TV series nowadays do a shitty action/drama bit then go "10 hours earlier..." and it's the most annoying thing.
That's not them. That's on the speedrun video. They kinda have to have that there.
DerekHartley What are you talking about? Lol
nah show me ALL of the best parts right away ign.
i would love to see if they could somehow get rockstar devs to react to the gta v speedrun
Rockstar is the second most secretive company behind CIA,so I doubt it
@@squidstone8399 yeah but it would be sweet tho
@@itsmehere1Certainly
Joking right?! Those two nerds would have every glitch fix. Can't have a game full of fun from Rockstar. How dare you!!
sabretooth1971 they wouldn’t bother patching a single player glitch, only money glitches because that means no shark cards
i really appreciate the time developers take to watch and commentate about speedrunners. its a new huge wave of gameplay thats shaking up the gaming industry. its nice to see that effort acknowledged
Speedrun length summary:
Title description: 48:00
Video length: 47:37
Speedrun: 48:49
Devs: laughing
Me: confused
Hotel: Trivago
No but jokes aside this series is amazing and this has to be my fav reaction so far. Such funny guys. They weren't butthurt, complimented blancw's skills, gave interesting details about the game and just all around made the whole run funny and interesting every second. Great job guys ~
Jonah is the real person speed running. He does it legit and can still keep up
Because they speak and write in french, their keyboard is "azerty" instead of "qwerty"
Thank you, I was so confused.
who you talking about?
@@SA80TAGE the speedrunners keyboard inputs are on the righr side of the screen, and its not in the normal configuration
@@caderidley2309 I know that, but his use of "they" and "their" makes it seem like he thinks the devs themselves are playing it....when in fact they're watching one dudes playthrough.
Logically he should be saying "Because _he_ speaks and writes in french, _his_ keyboard is "azerty" instead of "qwerty"".... you follow me?
@@SA80TAGE By the way in Quebec we have Qwerty keybord
"Al pacino's dead" 😂 these have by far been some of the most entertaining devs in the whole series! Kudos to these guys!
Love this game, it's so cool to see devs watching someone so passionate about their games.!
The XP bug about the falling kid was too funny
I like how they can poke fun at their own game and have a laugh. Great guys.
I stopped the video after 10:46, I don't want to see the rest of what seems to be a incredibly beautiful TOMB RAIDER.
Those graphics are gorgeous. I never played to Tomb Raider 1, I just saw the evolution of the franchise and played "Lara Croft and the Gardians of Light".
But this is stunning. What a return to the roots ! Wow !
I really love this series.
It's hilarious to "see" the reactions of the devs to their game being broken to this extent.
...I just really want to see the OoT devs react to the sub-10 OoT ACE WR, even though I know it probably won't ever happen.
These Dev's do really love their game . You can tell that from the enthusiasm the way they are talking. It's nice to see Dev's actually care about game more than the profit ..
Tony is the type of guy who discover all these glitches on his own but still never finishes the game.
lol
how the hell tony ferguson's fan in this chanel
love how stressed these devs get while watching it but in reality most of these exploits are really hard to pull off
Theme of the run: "Ahhh hes going to miss the sequence where..."
"Level design cannot watch this walk"
Every level design nightmare 😂
"we are going to fix the bugs that one use " would be a great end to this video ..
speedrunnersusually run on version 1.0 because of that very reason
indeed the "glitch" run is on version 1.0 because they fixed "airwalking and skywalking"
the glitchless run (2 hours 54 min) is on a updated version.
@@shredderorokusaki3013 11 months later and still 43 subcribers. how could it be? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Brendan Fraser is now an Oscar winner!!!
Loved the whole flow of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Perfect game. Great action. I still do enjoy it. I like speedrun videos but this game is a gem to skip everything.
I think those speedrunners did play normally at first to enjoy the content. And they at least have already finished the game several times in order to memorize the patterns and which glitch to exploit.
@@argop4518 if I did speedrun I would just watch attempts of people trying before me. Not playing the game. Just study it to make the fastest way possible to the end. To be max efficient.
JasonB54 well i think you’d need to like this game so much that you want to spend countless hours trying to improve on a run time.
So I guess you will have to finish it vanilla first for the very first impression.
really appreciate the devs spending 50 mins on this, and they really can remember most of the scenes!
they are not annoyed by this, but showing respect, and gratitude.
They have probably seen those scenes as many times as the speedrunner himself
"What ever happened to Brendan fraiser" how to instantly hook and audience
These guys were super cool. It was an awesome ideia to have the narrative director in such a story driven game, I hope they keep doing this.
16:19 - 17:15 Is like what the hell... I just can't stop laughing
watching these videos really shows you the broad spectrum of feelings that game developers have for runners
Best one yet! Really loved this... Thank you for making this happen, IGN!
"Evening Ralph." "Evening Sam." You devs...I really appreciated that nod and had previously made a quick TH-cam video about your nod to Looney Tunes.
These two react better than any other speed run reaction video.
How the heck did I end up watching the full run???? I don't even have a xbox one nor ps4
video: "Cinematics waste time"
Me: *You might be onto something*
I've really enjoyed this whole series, but this is absolutely the best one so far. I love how knowledgeable and enthusiastic these guys were. Their tendency to laugh at themselves and the situation as well as give genuine credit to the runner's more impressive moments really makes this stand out.
title: speed run in 48 minutes
video length: 47 minutes
actual speedrun: *starts a minute after the video starts*
Oh yea wtf
They explained at the beginning that they were watching an edited version of the speedrun without cinematics.
