  • Since Apple removed the headphone jack on the iPhone 7, I decided to give Bluetooth headphones a try. After many years of not using noise canceling headphones, can the Bose QC 35's do the trick? Watch to find out.

    Awesome video! The cleanest review I have seen of these yet.

    i just got them couple days ago. i didnt really see whats so special since they didnt get extremely loud or heavy bass. i was at work and had some time to listen to them. i realized that these headphones are beast because they give the feeling of complete isolation and only what im listening to is present. i never felt that before. wow.

    very simple instructions I bought a pair of the Rose and Gold and I LOVE them. I am having a problem getting them to work for me. Any body have some very SIMPLE instructions on how to use the wireless feature with an old Pioneer 61" screen TV. not sure how to get it to pair the headphones with the TV.

    I have the Q35 I, if I use the cable while the headphones are out of battery they don’t sound good. Does that happen with the Q35 II?

    Great video - been on the fence between these and the Sennheiser PXC 550's. I have the Bose QC15's and they work great but would love to have the bluetooth as well.

      Google it..
      "Currently, the codecs that the QC35 supports are AAC and SBC only."
      "The supported profiles for the QC35 are Advanced Audio Distribution
      Profile (A2DP); Hands Free (HFP); Headphones (HSP); Audio/Video Remote
      Control Profile (AVRCP); BTLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)."

    Does the microphone still works when you use the 3.5mm cable?

    Hello, my friend. I'm looking forward to buying this headphone, but with this such expensive price I would like to know about the durabilitt of this product. Is it breakable? Will I be able to change the pair of cushions easily? Thanks

    Would be nice if you could have demonstrated how to pair since many might have difficulty. I don't understand why you and the directions say to push button to the right and 'hold' when it holds its position by itself anyway. If you're making a 'tech' video, why not present the technology to pair?

    Have you tried the MDR-1000x?
    The general consensus is that it's better at noise cancelling than the QC35...

      I preordered the 1000x's yesterday. Can't wait to try em out!

    Bose qc25s are over-ear headphones just like the qc35s but the 25s don't have the wireless feature and the wireless lasts around 20-25 hours before another charge not 2 hours!!

  • @510maddog
    @510maddog 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I wonder why Bose doesn't mention the type of bluetooth codec(s) that are in these. They obviously have SBC but wonder if they have the Apt-X or AAC codec in it. @ least Sony is upfront about the codecs that are in their headsets.

      Bose QC 35 only supports AAC which pairs up perfectly with Apple.

    They can only pair to 2 devices? I had hoped to. use them with my phone, tablet and laptop

    I just got these a week ago, and they are truly amazing. Question for your or anyone else that has them though. I had assumed that the noise cancelling was 100%, mine seem to be more like 80%. Is that normal? Certainly not a complaint, but without ever owning NC headphones before, I didn’t know. Either way, I absolutely love them!

    • @xpmule

      I think the way noise cancelling works is that it's more effective with the low's than high's.. just a guess though. Here is an interesting fun fact.. Speakers can be wired up any way you want positive / negative on either terminal on an amp. Speakers are made to work either way.. the problem is and why they are labelled positive and negative is so they get synced... If they are not synced the bass side of the spectrum get's CANCELLED OUT ..or muddy / distorted. If you put a small current on your home speakers like say 6 volts DC for a fraction of a second you will see the big woofer puff up.. or suck in. Speakers are made to work either way and it makes no difference which way they are wired.. the problem is if you have one wired one way and the other the opposites.. then the cancelling effect kicks in.. I learned that by Googling it then testing it myself. Questions ? just Google it ;)

      noise will not be completely cancelled--80% is already great.
      if i want even less noise at all, i pair with earplugs, but still you will get some noise as on an airplane

    Can this product only mute the external noise without playing music ? I do not need music, just want to mute the office noise.

    • @nialljamesbuckley
      @nialljamesbuckley 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes - you actually can't turn off ANC which some people complain about, but on flights i use these often with just them turned on and no music.

    • @Adrian-gy1ux
      @Adrian-gy1ux 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      b You CAN turn ACN completely off since the new update of the Bose App you just have to go to settings and then there's 3 Options about ACN 3rd one allows you to turn it off.

      Gucci is right and the real question is why would you spend 4 or $500 on these to do that ? They make ear muffs to block out sound for work.. would be hella cheaper.

  • @PrinceMascara

    Just bought the qc 35. Is it normal to hear people talking while sitting in a dining table. I don't know if my ANC works properly.

    • @Adrian-gy1ux
      @Adrian-gy1ux 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bin Domaub If you can hear them while you're listening to music and with ANC turned on there's definitely something wrong lol

    • @dylanbertwell
      @dylanbertwell 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bin Domaub if you can hear them loudly than it isn't working. But if there voices are more mute than with the headphones off than it is working. ANC doesn't 100% cancel out all sounds but will cancel almost all sounds that have a steady sound like a airplane, car etc. Other things like voices can be faintly heard but the headphones are working properly
      Also make sure ANC is enabled in the Bose connect app.

    • @xpmule
      @xpmule 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Voices tend to come through the most because they are a high spectrum pitch i think.. For example the loud fan beside me vanishes but i can still faintly hear the people on TV talking next to me.

    The Bose QC25s are not on-ear headphones. They are over-the-ear headphones just like the QC35 without the Bluetooth capability.

    • @jeradhilltech
      @jeradhilltech  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry about that. I tried them on and to me they felt like over the ear. I have a big head though. The QC30s felt more over the ear to me.

    Reviewers say "great noise cancelling" it's a good feature and all of that, but then they say, the sound isn't the best. I don't want headphones that have all this amazing technology, and then have sub par sound lol
