This minute makes me feel ever more grateful to be a devotee. Once again, your individual perspectives spark so many facets to consider about our favorite subject! I have this curious experience with every SRF memorial and birthday service. I feel as though the master being honored bestows me with one of their inherent qualities, then this affects the meaning of their photos and images and my relationship deepens. Mike, I'll be checking Amazon for that book you mentioned😉, The SRF Devotees Guide to Travel, so I can get my itinerary together. 🧘‍♀️✈

Wow that is a beautiful experience unique to every commemoration service, thank you for sharing. I hope I can now feel some of that joy next time! Jai Guru, Priyank

Glad u brought up the pix and how affecting they are. I agree that they penetrate in different ways at different times, depending on what’s happening with the devotee and what exactly needed then. Re Christ on the cross images. Speaking as one who shed many a tear before such images as a child (and repeatedly told by the Authorities that it was my fault, due to my sins), I dislike having them around me now. I think Chris is referring to the Sacred Heart of Jesus images, with light rays coming from the heart. Christ at 33 used by SRF is the best of the gentler images, IMO. Thx as always.

Sad to hear about your tough childhood experience, it would seem it was all worth it to be where you are now, Jai Guru

Which category of PICTURE is preferable to remember?
    1. The statement made by Guruji that he would be with us more after he left the body because his body was in the way.. Meaning the body is expression and the suggestion of limitation that it imposes on our consciousness localising the idea of Guru is on the way of our feeling and being One with Him fully!!
    2. The second statement made by Him to Daya Mata: "Much later .... They will Realize.... What I Am!"
"What I am" is indicative of
His Omnipresent Immanence By which He is with us Here and Now... As the Reality - God's Light - Within and Around us!! He is the Love in the Heart, the Wisdom in the Buddhi , the Consciousness of which our Awareness is a mere glimmer!!
