Hi. Could you clarify the name of Priyank’s background pic, please? - Also, I for one very much appreciate all of your own questions and then sharing your personal experiences with various aspects of our practices. E.g., long meditations; overly long sleep, etc. Since I usually have or have had similar experiences and conclusions, it’s very encouraging. - Kudos to Chris for his very romantic act of recording his voice for his wife (apparently a foreign notion to Priyank, judging by his giggles!). Thanks, gang. Luv ur insights. Mike always offers a fascinating perspective. And yes. Lauren, this book can be a treasure to absolutely anyone who tries it on ❤

'I did not need sleep, for I was ever with God.' said by RGM. I also prefer to consider here "sleep' as any ignorant, pampered tendencies/ patterns or enemies of the mind in terms of certain external stimuli, people, moods, negative thoughts or mental crisis which also needs professional help (certainly in cases of actual diagnosis) and/or teachings as well for all devotees and truth-seekers on this path. and When we are ever with God, Highest potential, we don't need sleep- as in enemies annihilation.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna is referred as Gudakesa- conqueror of sleep- Guruji mentions in his commentary- 'Ordered thus by the devotee (ever-ready, sleepless, delusion-defeating), the Soul drove the best of chariots- and intuitively commanded devotee to face his inner enemies. and what Priyank talked about leaving problem aside for a while and then sudden solution to the problem is referred as Insight; studied by Lawrence Kohlberg. (interesting experiment on Cognitive process in Psychology)
Lots of respect to you Chris, bless you and your wife!!
Entire discussion, perspectives, reading absolutely comforting!!
