Just put it on the compression stroke, and do both at the same time.

adjust with the outer and tighten with the inner! Holding outer with wrench :)

I think the big problem is that when you were using the ratchet wrench with the T30, you were losing your sense of feel and with just the socket you were having problems holding it in place. I think it would be better if you would have used a screwdriver T-30 so you could hold it in place while you tighten down the nut. I actually watched you loosen it back after you had it to the correct tolerance and when you put the socket on it you back to back off. The guy coming in love was wrong no you actually use the t30 to tighten and lock it in with the 13 mm hex nut. Good video though I enjoyed watching it. 👍
