At what stage in Kitesurfing do you think you schould get your own materials?

@@baukenijs8932 you can buy your own gear as soon as you are able to land and launch a kite safely and know how to bodydrag (even in challenging conditions). But I would recommend to buy your own gear if you can do all of the above and ride in both directions confidently just to be sure. It all depends on the spot you want to ride at. If the spot is mostly flat water you can already start buying your own gear if you can bodydrag and know how to waterstart. If the water is deep then you should know how to ride consistently. Very important is that there is at least one other person on the water or on land that can keep an eye on you!

Is the 5 pro waterproof enough for kitesurfing? I tought that it wasn't even waterproof enough to swim with.

@@feddebergwerf for now I haven't had any issues besides some water "using the touchscreen" but I believe there is a waterlock mode
