Respect.. Great progress.. It took me 7 years to do my first kiteloops, and never got higher but 10m. Otherwise.. I am sure I am 30 years older.. So for my age.. I was very good.. Unluckily I krashed February so hard in February, 3 ligaments ruptured and the Meniskus. And hmm Knorpel.. And to not forget I nearly died from a long pulmonary.. From this.. I'll maybe never even be able to walk without hurtings. But I can tell you... I miss it increadibly.. Well only my video cutting ability's are better on my channel but yours.. Enjoi it and don't crash it as I did
Really nice, I was able to get to riding back and forth without transitions in about 10-12 classes. It would be amazing if you could make a video how to speed up the learning progress and point where you found the 80/20 gains. 🙏
my best advice is to use every second you can getting on the water and if youre going for quick progress you just have to dare to try out new stuff but do it in the beginning of the session where you still have energy
@@wolff8131 thank you. You have to make the best of everything.. So what next? Wingsuitfjying, or should I rather become an old grumpy gy protesting against kiter to get giant bird protection areas at the coast.. 😂
Awesome stuff. Watching this, I could sooo feel the hype of my first powered loops last year again, that yank just gives you the rush! Your regular jumps and landings are wayyy better than mine though. xD
@@wolff8131 Thanks for the answer! This gives me somewhat rough approximation on how long will I have to wait until I'm able to do those lovely kiteloops 🤩 I'm on the very beginner phase and learning upwind riding, planning to buy my own equipment this fall.
Kiteboarding is like working out as a newbie you get those beginner gains until you hit that Plateau. Gets a lot harder to progress as your skills develop.
kite is weird in that way, beggining can be tricky and hard, but when you start plaining its easy and relatively easy to start jumping etc. windsurfing is easy until you start planing and then it gets harder as you go
Really impressive fast progression, I wish I had more wind in germany, because sadly I only had four sessions in the 6 weeks of summer holidays and as soon as you come back and the holidays stop, it blows 25 knots the whole week and I can't get to the sea! I've been kitesurfing for three years and it's always the same with the wind. My progression is because of that very slow, but at least I jump 3 meters, but it takes a few more years until I'm at your level.
Can you say something about bad weather kiting? What is the lowest water temp and air temp you would still go out. How thick is your wetsuit, glovs, boots?
@@no_name-o2n I kite in all kinds of conditions. Except thunderstorms of course or blizzards. Lowest temp 2-3° C because otherwise there might be some freezing on the equipment. My wetsuit is 6.5 now boots and gloves are similar. But I used to use a 5.4 as well.
Yes I only ride core. I started on an xr6 8sqm and then I got an xr7 11 sqm and 8sqm a year after I started kite surfing. The eleveight clips were from a test event in June of 2023
@@wolff8131 yeah i know but the gear is quite expensive and the next place i could do that is like 200 km away.. I looking forward to make my first stets this or at least mext year
@@ReinersBlauerHoden yeah water sports are quite expensive. But I can only recommend taking lessons first which are also not that cheap but you will be less likely to destroy your gear and most schools offer a special discount to newcomers for their first kite equipment.
Focus on the basics first! Learn to ride upwind and do your first transitions. Then you can start to learn jumping. And I would say that you should improve your takeoff to a point where you are confident in the air and then you can start adding rotations or boardoffs do everything step by step don't try to rush it to fast.🤙
Wow, really impressive progress and so awesome to see it all stitched together!
Thank you man🤙
the progression from having friends who are filming you to biting on your floaty and doing the content yourself 😅 sick progress!

About once a week on an one year average.

Only in the beginning until I was able to ride. Afterwards I learned by myself and through videos.
