Jetty is cool ... and I love your respectful relationship with her. Just lost my 16 Y/O Jack Russell (Ajax) and I'm heartbroken. He was the best man at our wedding and my best friend.
Wax job looks fabulous! Sierra , you did a great job docking!!! Don’t be so hard on yourself, these skills take lots of practice ❤ Billy persevering really paid off on the board!!! Now you have a new water sport to enjoy!!! Great video ❤
I’m not real familiar with those sail drives but as a mechanic I always check for a plugged vent before any seal replacement. Sometimes it’s a tiny pin hole in the filler cap that gets plugged with salt or grit. As it heats up, the fluid finds the easiest place to relieve pressure. Just an idea.😊
I've polished many a glass boat, usually in the shade, so I feel for the amount of upper body strength you put into Tula. Combined with all that pumping to foil, Billy must have eaten well and slept like a log. Excellent underwater footage, nice to have lobster season opening soon. Thanks for the view, you guys are living the dream.
Awesome video!!! Sierra, you did an excellent job pulling out of the slip!! Billy your compliments are improving :), you are even becoming romantic with underwater handholding❤ and loved watching you learn to foil without a sail. Great job!!! Love you both ❤❤
As always, enjoy your life adventures. However, I am totally exhausted just watching you guys work on the boat maintenence & the many attempts at improving foiling skills.
Love watching her swim in her life jacket and volunteer for a fresh water shower afterwards - VERY cute.. Not sure our chihuahuas would be as eager to go into the water though they can swim - they just really don't like doing it..
Billy your tenacity and and sheer drive to get that foil right is really admirable. Got some great shots in the boat looks great. Thank you both for great video. Sending love to both of you from LIZ in California.🩵😎⛵️🐬🤘🏻🐚
Looks like there were plenty of lobsters down there for a good feed when the season opens. Way to stick with it Billy on the foil launch technique. Dan made it look easy, but anyone who's tried that knows its very difficult.
Groovy tunes!!! Not sure if it applies to you but Saling Nahoa had seal problems in their sail drive lower unit. As I understood it, the recommended gear oil was Quicksilver High Performance (vs Premium), but for some the High Performance wasn't used. They're both API GL-4 but the Premium bubbles too much, creating pressure and eventually causing the seals to leak. Maybe something to consider. Check out their video from last year (June 25, 2023) titled "we had to haul out again". Oil info is at 2:44 . Good Luck! Cheers!
if I were you, I would polish that new gel coat and apply 3M protective film over it, commonly called PPF. This should last 3-5 years and just peels off later leaving your gelcoat perfect underneath. Just reapply in a few years. You two can do it yourselves together. Take a one-day vinyl wrap class. Or you can spend 2-3 days 3-4x per year to keep it sealed with synthetic wax or 1x a year with ceramic coating. Just go with PPF and do nothing for the next few years.
Watching you use that drill over water and knowing how I drop my tools sometimes, ever drop it in the water? Maybe a wrist line to stop it from going in the drink?
I have an Airstream camper that I remodeled including stripping the clear coat and buffing the aluminum. I used a tool made by buffpro. Same technology that they use in buffing airplane but in a smaller format. No swirl marks. They are corded and a bit heavy. But fast. They have polishing drums that I use on my truck. If you have to polish very often it might be worth a look. Great content.
Great video guys.. a little bit of everything in there. Nice to see the Jetty cameo at the end. I haven’t seen a lot of cruisers with dogs, so always nice to see how they like cruising too! Thanks for sharing.
From former crew on a 49 foot Bayliner, I really appreciate how easy Billy did that docking. Rotated that big boat on a dime so that all your "crew" had to do is hand the lines to the guys on the dock.
Me too! My "old lady" bone-on-bone arthritic knees started to hurt just watching it-not to mention the bare skin pressing against that rough wood. Ow-chers! 😂
Boat looks amazing after the wax job , love you guys persistence until you get it whether it’s the board or backing out of the dock you both love a challenge , mm blown seal , I agree check the breather valve or maybe just a hold blocked up , all the very best to you both 💕🇬🇧Graham
Considering Billy is so accomplished on all sorts of water gymnastics - I found the section of foil board jetty starts utterly depressing for us lesser humans.😉👍
This is really cool. Sailing Zatara and Tula Endless Summer are the only two Sailing TH-camrs I follow. Recently they have crossed paths and shown clips of each other. Hopefully they will be there for each other if needed.
Do you have to do vet checks or anything else special every time you check in to a new place with Jetty on board? We are coming down on our boat for the month of April and still trying to decide if we are bringing our Daisy or not. We will only be in the Bahamas, so I know it's just one country to check in and out of. I was just curious how difficult it was for you all.
Even "Sailing with the Wynns" will never go back to Colombia, after their pirate encounter. Wynns were on the West coast though, but still the pirates tracked them overnight, keeping half mile distance. She could not sleep all night. But Tula is so prepared and invincible. A regatta would solve any issue, at least a couple other boats, with Tula.
11:06 - have you met up with Keith & Reneé? 18:15 once you got the hang of it, it def looks like it gives you an awesome full-body workout, while you're 'having fun'.
Wonderful video they always are! I almost feel like I’m there most of the time, and wish I was. Thank you for continuing to bring everybody along. I don’t think I could ever figure out how to do that foil thing. Maybe I’m just too old or out of shape or both. I wouldn’t mind giving the powered type of foil a try. Kinda like an E bike on water. I know they have those bikes, but I’m talking about the board like yours maybe one day.
If I didn't know any better I would have thought Billy guest starred in an episode of the original Hawaii Five 0 series. Season 1 Episode 9 "By the Numbers - Wow!
Jetty is cool ... and I love your respectful relationship with her.

Sorry for your loss of your family member 🙏 RIP Ajax 🙏🙏

Glad to see our wax is helping to keep LaurieSue looking sharp!!
Jetty's got the good life ⛵🐬👍🤗🐕💖
Damn Billy. You have a strong core. Jetty is the best.
Underwater footage: A
Billy getting dock starting on the foil: A+
Incredible Underwater Footage!
Thanks for that.

Sierra, you should do all the docking and manning the wheel to hone your confidence and skills.
wax on wax off great movie

Nothing better than a good hard day's work that was successful and productive 😊 The boat looks amazing.

Sailing Zatara by you guys. Keith and Renee. ❤️ I also follow there channel. Crazy to think how small the world is sometimes.
Been following you for a loooong time. I just love Jetty. Sweet girl.
I had a yanmar sail drive on a 2GM engine on my 1984 monohull.. never had a problem
Do you ever wish you had shaft drives in there instead of those sail drives?
Lot of work for that ryobi. Karate kid "wax on wax off" reenactment...good job!
jetty is a cool boat dog!!! and i follow Zatara as well good to see their boat there!!
Pump foiling is probably a good workout, it just doesn't look like much fun ;) The wax job turned out great!
You both work so hard, appreciate having a partner to share the hard work and make your dreams come true⛵
Saw the quick Zatara piece. Nice to see you all in the same place.
Sailing Zatara.....
Watching you use that drill over water and knowing how I drop my tools sometimes, ever drop it in the water? Maybe a wrist line to stop it from going in the drink?
Love you kids! Really enjoyed the underwater video. Cudo for not giving up on the foil, Billy. You're tenacious! Safe travels. ❤
We just love Jetty! 😊
Thank you for the underwater filming. I just find that so relaxing.

WoW! Zatara is right behind!
i love the Zatara cameo
Thanks for the vicarious sailing adventures. Keep the good stuff coming and give Jetty a treat for me.
Last shot was.definitely the best.. Jetty wrapped in her lil towel 😍😍 such a lucky baby! (All dogs are babies regardless of age to me)

"Wax on, wax off"! haha Love the way you keep and look after your boat! Meticulous is the word that comes to mind!
A goood wax jpb shows pride of ownership. Good for you
Color me impressed with you on that foil board. ❤
my knees hurt just watching you on that dock .. had to hurt
Me too! My "old lady" bone-on-bone arthritic knees started to hurt just watching it-not to mention the bare skin pressing against that rough wood. Ow-chers! 😂
Thanks guys, the boat looks great. GO JETTY GIRL 👍🏻💕🐾🍖
What amazing under water shots you took so very cool
Jetty is the luckiest dog in the world.
Love the adventure side of tula not just talking about the boat. Great video
Beautiful shiny boat…worth the hard work. You have perseverance thats for sure…thank u 🇨🇦 ❤
check the breather on the gearbox that was leaking, if blocked or restricted pressure will force oil out
i like the music choice for the boat buffing. it was fun.
For a second, I thought I was watching the closing of an episode of Beard Meets Food!😂
Boat looks amazing after the wax job , love you guys persistence until you get it whether it’s the board or backing out of the dock you both love a challenge , mm blown seal , I agree check the breather valve or maybe just a hold blocked up , all the very best to you both 💕🇬🇧Graham
Awesome. Love the diving. Water was so clear and beautiful.
Considering Billy is so accomplished on all sorts of water gymnastics - I found the section of foil board jetty starts utterly depressing for us lesser humans.😉👍
You should have asked your dock neighbor on Zatara to show you how it was done. You and Renee would have had a lot of good laughs.
Looking like Mr and Mrs Miyaki! 😮
Wouldn’t hurt to have a couple extra seals on board.
Thanks for another great video of life on a sailboat!
Beautiful chill episode.
I see sailing Zatara off to the Port (I think?) Love you guys! Thanks for taking us who would love to be sailing with you virtually!
This is really cool. Sailing Zatara and Tula Endless Summer are the only two Sailing TH-camrs I follow. Recently they have crossed paths and shown clips of each other. Hopefully they will be there for each other if needed.
So nice with that polishing, looks so nice. Nice when you praise Sierra, Billy. That board looks hard to learn to stand on, you are so good Billy...
thats so soon for an oil seal, check alignment of the motor to sail drive. if its off itncould be putting pressure on the shaft, warping the seal
Love the longer videos
Hey, that's pretty cool man, you're doing good; you're a real Pumper! lol.
These guys really are living the life aren’t they!!
Great video. See you next month.

The Laurie Sue sure shines, nice seeing Zatara, did you guys run into Keith and Renee’ ??
Billy can do anything, he's my hero. I wish I was young again

Now that you joined the boat waxing world... try colinite! Best wax out there, last long, easy to apply and remove.. that's the only thing I wax with
Nice little Zatara shot. y'all need to go say hi since they are kid less or awhile and need some "young adult" interaction.
11:06 - have you met up with Keith & Reneé? 18:15 once you got the hang of it, it def looks like it gives you an awesome full-body workout, while you're 'having fun'.
good job on the wax looks great . I waxed my 34ft searay express one time in the water never again on land only
Looks extra glossy! 🥇
You two are living the dream!
Thanks you guys.....just thanks. X
Jetty is a great swimmer ! 🐕
It's a clean machine. So much fun.
foiling like flying, you will lose lift in a turn. So I would assume starting in a straight line would be better than an immediate turn
Love you guys
Living the dream

Get a polishing spur, then you can clean your polishing pad every 5 mins and helps a lot. Stops the build up of product too.
Nice and shiny 😊
AWESOME VIDEO GOOD JOB
Always enjoy your videos. 👍
Dude, you honestly grew up living life nautical...
Respect, you're fairly more than awesome at it!!
Have fun you guys!
Looks like an unending job
Zatara ?
My “ momma” Miniature Dachshund does this when she wants to play.
Waxing, the time when a 16 ft boat is an advantage 😂
Go Jetty!
You guys made some nice music on this video.
Interesting to see 2 of the sailing channels I watch in the same marina< you guys and Sailing Zatara!
If I didn't know any better I would have thought Billy guest starred in an episode of the original Hawaii Five 0 series. Season 1 Episode 9 "By the Numbers - Wow!
That was funny. Did you understand that ? Did you understood that ? Nope maybe Jetty did ask her😂
I may have missed it but are you guys planning on crossing an ocean in the future? Just curious. Love you guys.
