Real Madrid’s season has been an absolute success and winning La Liga is a testament to their strength and ability to cope with solutions under difficult circumstances. Last summer, they lost their talisman Karim Benzema’s and didn’t sign a replacement for him meaning that they were going the whole season without an elite striker and also they lost Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao to ACL injuries and many of us felt like this team was in deep trouble and weren’t going to be able to compete for trophies without 2 of their key players at the back. Not to mention that last season was a disappointment for them by their standards because Barcelona won La Liga and also Manchester City knocked them out of the Champions League by an embarrassing margin and looked like a team in transition.
Real Madrid is just a dangerous team. They have clinched the La Liga title in such a dominant way and they deserve the title due to their consistency and Ancelotti’s tactical nous and adaptability. From being able to cope without a proper striker and navigate injuries, they’ve become an even stronger team and have had to overcome setbacks and just get the job done and take care of business. It’s not always been vintage Real Madrid as at times they’re not at their best, but what they always do is find a way and that’s all the matters. In all competitions this season, they’ve lost 2 games and haven’t lost in La Liga since September. This team has a lot of talent on paper, part of their success is down to elite coaching from Carlo Ancelotti and being able to find solutions because whether you’re competing for trophies fighting relegation or challenging for the European spots, you have to deal with challenges and cope with it no matter how many injuries or suspensions you have. At one point they didn’t even have any natural center back and that didn’t stop them. Not to mention that Real Madrid might also win the champions league again this season as they’re favorites to win this competition. The fact that they’ve already won La Liga about to win the Champions League with a makeshift defense no elite striker and players playing out of position, they’re going to be scary next season because Kylian Mbappe in the same team as Jude Bellingham Vinicius Junior and other stars combined with how much better they’ll be with a fully fit squad, realistically who’s stopping Real Madrid from dominating La Liga for the years to come and winning more champions leagues.

Ancelotti shines the most this season. He made the team embraced their weaknesses (lack of goalscorers, goalkeepers, defenders, speed as a team, etc), and then found ways around those (Bellingham, Lunin, Tchouameni, playing ultra defensive, etc). His solutions might not always be the best ones, but they definitely worked.

Correct me if I'm wrong, if the table stays this way Girona would also eliminate City from the UCL next year as two teams from the same owner group cannot be in the same competition. I think the deciding factor is the league that ends highest in european competition takes the tie, that means La Liga (Real in semi) ends higher than EPL. It’s actually the whole team. Jude was amazing in the beginning of the season when Vinicius was injured and he was adjusting to his new position along with Rodrygo. Jude goals won us important points, but let’s not forget Vini and Rodrygo in the second half of the season, Rudiger, Carvajal, Mendy for the whole season, Lunin Camavinga Tchouameni Brahim showing up when we really needed him, I don’t even have to mention Kroos Valverde and Modric
