It’s like they don’t do any research on how there own products are performing in the market it makes no sense and is very very disappointing. Thanks for another video walcom 👍🏼
I will say this it is a step in the right direction. You may not like the deco but it is a successor to the siege 50 since it comes with twice the capacity, more reliable feeding and a more ergo way to reload rather than the crappy door that was at the front of the hopper instead of the back because that would make to much sense. That being said I feel like they’re gonna come out with an improvement to the rush 40 since the biggest problem was that the guard made it hear you holster and the most common mod was a t-pull for Easier prime and possibly of using them akimbo
It's still the same reason as it's always been: they would not be able to sell them as toys in Europe. Now, they've done multiple lines that I can not legally own here in Germany, like all of Rival. This obviously goes for all the "pro" blasters as well. It seems like nobody wants to compete in a higher age bracket against Airsoft. I think Hasbro see Elite as their core product, to be sold worldwide.
Hasbro is comfortable being the jack of all trades, master of none. But it's confusing why they keep pushing hyper while rival was such a great line that they decide to ignore.
you know, Nerf Hyper would be the perfect ammo to have an automatic hip-fire LMG with multi-hundred round capacity. a successor to the Rival Prometheus, perhaps?

Late to the party but man I agree with your comment. I just see so much wasted energy from Hasbro sigh… on another note, can’t wait for your video tomorrow bro!
I think Hyper would be better for full auto blasters. The Mac 100 was disappointed because of the inconsistency feeding and the lack of the rechargeable battery so I hope they make improvements for the next full auto hyper blaster.
I do like the rush 40 and Siege 50 with upgraded Springs and hop UPS for plinking around the house. I would never use them outside in a battle. I am excited for the Evolve 100. The few videos I've seen seems like it feeds way more reliably than past hyper blasters. Thank you for the video. I appreciate your efforts.
I would how an automatic springer, a la the stampede, would work with nerf hyper. They definitely need hop-up tabs, and maybe a bit of cosmetics changing, but unlike most of elite 2.0, they have potential. if that evolve 100 had slam fire, and a more consistent feeding mechanism (hoppers are unreliable), it would've made for an amazing sustaining fire blaster. needs to be a little smaller though.
I legitimately see a world in which both Rival and Hyper can co-exist. Rival can be the go-to for primary class blasters while Hyper can be such for secondaries. The day Nerf makes a high-capacity Hyper pistol that is smaller than any of the Rival pistols and able to fit smaller holsters is the day that the line will truly take off imo. The Nerf Hyper siege 50 is actually not that bad of a blaster. I have one and i think I’m very comfortable with it. I don’t like flywheel blasters so having a good beefy spring fire slamfire blaster is quite fun. It hits like a truck too, probably why they advise you to buy their safety goggles. Just don’t bring it outside. The rubber balls are tiny and blend in with grassy backyards.
"Its been well over a year since we have scene anything from nerf hyper" Me : Still waiting for a new blaster for modulus/zombie strike/mega/doomlands/rival series
I just wish that hasbro would bring back modulus, the original elite series and accustrike however I think that's unfortunately very unlikely now. Also Walcom I'd love your idea of a blaster that combined the select fire of the regulator, the rear loading of the infinus and the modulus chrono barrel aswell as it being lipo powered from the end of your elite 2.0 was a mistake video.
I kinda wish they would reproduce some discontinued blasters like sharpfire, snapfire, and even original jolt. They are all super expensive and rare now.
The only thing I could see hyper being good is like like a buckshot shotgun shell. Throwing a shell full of about 10-15 of those little balls into a spring thunder would be gorgeous 😍
you think since these are smaller than rival rounds, it would be easier to make more compact magazines and smaller blasters, yet they are all hopper fed and pretty big.
Quite honestly, I don’t see myself ever picking up any Nerf Hyper blasters. They aren’t accurate, use spherical ammo (which I’m not really a huge fan of due to the fact the bounce everywhere), and their hoppers don’t feed consistently. And reliability is the most important thing I look fir in a blaster next to fun.
Maybe it's a bit nit picky, but I do like Rival and I feel like it has a place in the CQB-medium range where with large ammo capacities you can lock areas down or be a good attacker. Rival rounds are expensive still though and they even bounce and roll around a bit too much. Hyper just compounds all the downsides of Rival to me. Smaller, bounce even more, hard to find, even less accurate than Rival (though they could fix that and look at the new accu-Rival rounds).
Wait, they're still making Hyper blasters? The big box stores around me are still struggling to sell the first wave at a 40-50% clearance discount in SoCal. Some of the shelf space went to Nerf 2.0, but more of it is taken up by the new Gel-blasters and Roblox stuff.
K25 T-pull Rush40 is awesome but you do have to watch the hopper. Just don't overfill and your golden. 12-18 rds at a time is what I typically load up. The evolve looks like a bastard to store but 2 of the 20's would be cool dual wielding pistols once we see some internals and possible upgrade guides. I use glow in the dark little valentine ammo which is a tiny bit heavier and I sort out the wider diameter balls to have clearer feeding. The lack of hop up is annoying - especially in a new barrel design to annoy Luke and Drac.
The velocity is nice, the rubberized ammo is impossible to use outdoors, it gets lost everywhere indoors, and they can't even bother to give you enough to fill the blaster so they force you to spend even more. About the only thing this can do is target shooting in an extremely controlled environment, but its accuracy is abysmal
Wait, the hyper guns are considered inaccurate?! My siege 50 is no joke one of the most accurate nerf guns I’ve used! Even a lot more than guns like regular rivals and my nexus pro! Maybe it’s accuracy decreases significantly outside, but inside this is one of my all time favorites to use! I almost never miss with it! I’m not sure though, maybe I’ve just adjusted to using it or something.
Honestly, I'll probably pass on these Hyper blasters. They look like good sci-fi cosplay props, but that's about it. Hell, the other Hyper blasters give off the same vibe to me
I actually like the idea of nerf hyper as a concept, i just wish these cool doors and refill tubes what they did with rival. There is no way im doing cleanup after a game of hyper. Balls are too expensive and i'm never gonna find them.
Man I just got into nerf when I found out modding was a thing and went to Walmart and saw the Mach 100 and got it thinking it was supposed to be amazing needless to say I was disappointed but I still like the idea I really hope they can get the designs right
The lack of improvements and huge gap between releases make me suspect that these were supposed to immediately follow-up the original Hyper drop, and Hasbro just put them on the backburner after the initial backlash. Give it a year and see if people have warmed up, and if not they haven't wasted any more money on R&D for the line.
To me, it doesn't matter how good these blasters are, they could be 200 FPS monsters that fire those balls straight as a laser and I still wouldn't buy them. The reason being is I cannot in good faith put those balls into the environment, knowing that they will not biodegrade and animals could choke on them. These are pollution guns, and that makes Captain Planet sad. Don't make Captain Planet sad.
My theory about the gel ball blaster is that it isn’t a “line” so much as its a product to allow hasbro to patent troll other manufacturers and get import bans on gel ball blasters from smaller manufacturers/retailers.
I LOVE HYPER! I LOVE NOT BEING ABLE TO FIRE ONE OUT OF THREE SHOTS! I LOVE NO ACCURACY IN SPRINGERS! I LOVE AMMO THAT CAN BE VERY EASILY SWALLOWED BY SMALL ANIMALS!
Nerf needs to go a different direction with the Hyper line ammo. Those look like they're perfect to fired from a shotgun shell or stored in a grenade. They need to rethink the ammo type and what its strength could actually be.
got 2 rush 40s on sale and put hop ups in them. bought some small hasbro branded ammo for the pods that fit the rails. as a high capacity pistol that is diffcult to beat. shoots accurately as far as modded rival if not further and faster.but the ammo is an issue the off brand ammo I tried varied between less bouncy compared to stock and so bouncy that even with a 6 foot fence many rounds just took off forever. Idk when I will ever use the hyper blasters I have so I probably will never buy more.
Shoot, the Evolve-100 doesn't come with advertised capacity, they are cheaping you out of 30 ROUNDS, the other 100 round Hyper blaster at least came with 80
Everyone hates on Hyper, but I like it. I even started playing with my Rush 40, and I think it’s fun to randomly shoot a bouncy ball around, lol. The Mach 100 is the other Hyper blaster I own, and after adding a barrel inside it, I fixed the jamming issue it had, and increased accuracy greatly.
If hasbro insists on continuing with the hyper line, I hope they at least make the rounds from a similar, if not the same material as the rival rounds. Ideally it would be something that is biodegradable. And they could at least give us one blaster that is full auto if they’re not going to give us a hop up
If hyper is going to survive, then they need to try something other than hoppers with it, magazine fed? Maybe internal magazines? Shell fed? The ammo is small enough that they could totally make a shell fed shotgun, and the shells would be small enough to not be super obnoxious to carry
They should have made the evolve 100 a rival blaster. Sure, a lot less capacity, but rival is an ammo type people actually care about, and where nerf actually has the best offerings.
I intentionally didn’t want anything to do with hyper, but some guy bought 2 of the battery operated big boys to dual wield, decided they were too heavy for that, and gave me one for free. :/ …I kinda like it as a big free toy. But what I REALLY want is more Mega XL.
I've thrifted 2 rush 40s, and as their my first hyper blaster, comfortable, just really awakard. I haven't bought any ammo for it yet, so I don't really know if it's worth my time to do anything to them.
Hen.....SHIN! I will say, I do like the big bois shell. With an afg, I think that would be quite the nice shell to do something with. Hyper as a round though was doa and nothing has changed.
So 9 months later I assume Hyper is gone but if they had made some kinda eco rubber or eco Foam balls these seem like good options the ammo might be consumable at that point but it does seem that the hobby would be willing to accept that if it was affordable.
with biodegradable rounds, a prometheus conversion to fire hyper will be the greatest HvZ blaster ever made. or a proton pack that holds hyper instead of rival
@@SillyBillyOng ty kindly. im honestly thinking triple or more if a new hopper is installed. if cheap, bio ammo was made, the conversion done and a god hopper put on, i wouldn't have any issue believing a 5k hyper round prometheus was on the field for an HvZ.
Our family has 2 of the hyper round blasters and we have the Mach 100 and the rush 40, already saw a review for the fuel 20. It’s crap for around the same price as rush 40. So I am watching for the new 100 round blaster
Honest to goodness, Hyper just isn't necessary. Elites, Megas, Rivals, they've still got plenty of potential for what they can do, and we're still dealing with the problem of Ultra existing, and even worse, being sold. Couple that with a currently one off Gel line, the lovingly ridiculous MEGA XL, and now they're STILL trying to diversify with a completely different ammo? This is on par with me starting new Minecraft seeds over and over, instead of investing time and creativity into the same world. They keep wanting to hit people with a new, "groundbreaking" ammo system that might take the world by storm, but why would anyone want to buy into a completely different ecosystem every year? Hasbro won't make refills for all these ammo types forever...
I personally like the concept and aesthetics of Nerf Hyper quite a bit, however in 2022 the ecological impact of the hobby can't be overlooked and Hyper is literally the worst line of blaster when it comes to being ecologically friendly, and that's a must for me.
Still don't know why hyper exists, are they trying to appeal to the airsoft/paintball market because it isn't doing a great job at that. I think hyper might find some success if they go mag fed and flywheel, would at least fire consistently.
I think the fuel-20 looks like trash... I think the Evolve looks sweet though and it apparently feeds quite consistently. Obviously it still needs a hop-up but you can add that. The only other Hyper I own is a Rush-40 which I bought for $4 at goodwill with 21 rounds in it and I actually like that blaster.
Target had the Mach 100 on sale couple weeks ago for 23.00 US I almost got it being so cheap but I'm just not going down the hyper road. Have every other type ammo that's enough.
Well shit. I was hoping for more Hyper releases... I now regret that. I like the back half of the hyper and the fact its a 100 round shotgun those are wins. The lawl hell no part is the fact it looks like whoever designed it really liked fortnite. The entire front half looks like the mega shotgun they released. The awkwardly too low pain in the ass to aim barrel location included. Again, on the heels of Hyper's release it was a small time no name company that put out the best product which is a "hyper" roughcut.

Our family has 2 of the hyper round blasters and we have the Mach 100 and the rush 40, already saw a review for the fuel 20. It’s crap for around the same price as rush 40. So I am watching for the new 100 round blaster
The big nerf hyper hurts like hell be careful it does leave bruises
If I owned any of these I would try to change the spring to a one stronger if I could
Now if only mega xl could get some new blasters
im gonna wait till IF hyper ever becomes good. maybe in 24 it might be good. i hope it is
Make the Evolve-100 but for Rival then that would be amazing...
If the rounds fed beter and they added a hop up this would be perfect for uk nerfers
Which Kamen Rider are you a fan of?
Build. But Geats is the best series yet... So far.
@@WalcomS7 Nice
I didn't know you still posted

Great review as always. Thanks for always make fun fact filled reviews. Keep up the great work.
What is the song playing during the advert section?
Something Mech Arena sends me... No idea what it is =(
@@WalcomS7 Oh
sad
I think the fuel-20 looks like trash... I think the Evolve looks sweet though and it apparently feeds quite consistently. Obviously it still needs a hop-up but you can add that. The only other Hyper I own is a Rush-40 which I bought for $4 at goodwill with 21 rounds in it and I actually like that blaster.
It's those stupid rubber rounds sticking together causing the feeding issues.
Waita drop the box at the beginning😅
Awesome!
What about actual shotguns using hyper? Would that be feasible?
i wonder what happens if you put gel rounds into a hyper blaster
Handsome walcom comes to review hyper
Someone should put together a Nerf Hyper arena with the black lights and everything, it would be indoors and sounds fun to me
Target had the Mach 100 on sale couple weeks ago for 23.00 US I almost got it being so cheap but I'm just not going down the hyper road. Have every other type ammo that's enough.
I’m currently saving for the evolve
Damn those look like ghostbuster type weaponry, and I'm only 1 minute in the video.
